Watch parties across the nation

Hey guys, this has come up when talking it over with a Buff alum in Portland, and I was just curious, for those of you that attend watch parties outside of Colorado, what the general atmosphere is at your particular viewing?

As I alluded to, Portland watch parties seem to be very cordial and proper. I'll be hitting up the San Diego watch party and am hoping for a little more, um, spirit. So that got me wondering what the rest of you have experienced when meeting up with perfect strangers to root on the black and gold. Oh, and feel free to rebuke me on the stuffy portland crowd.

Wait, Portland watch parties? I've tried to find some, but the alumni club out here has exactly ONE update, and it was back in 2007.

There's a watch party for every game that's on TV. Unfortunately I will have to second NBDefektor's opinion of the watch parties here. They are very low-key. I used to go pretty regularly but kids and work slowed that down. The bar we used to go to didn't allow children (OR Law). The new place is Cactus Jack's Cafe on Beaverton Hillsdale. The food there is very good but the room is pretty cramped.

The fans here are pretty fickle. The attendance drops off pretty fast if the season isn't looking good. Not that I'm one to talk since I don't make it often.

Goofy question and totally a shot in the dark... but it's likely that I'll find myself in Victoria, British Columbia on Sunday. In Canada, is there any chance of me getting the game at a pub there (via Satellite)? Is there any internet feed anyone knows of?

I should probably take the ferry to Seattle for what appears to be a well-organized watch party there. After this weekend I'll be back in Portland at Cactus Jack's -- hoping for a little more spirit.
