WSU @ CU Game thread

Why do we keep doing the up tempo offense? Seems like it’s always a negative play on second down, and lack of time of possession is killing our D.
 
WSU douche stepped out of bounds before he crossed the 1st down marker. Of course, with their xtra yard on every play, it would have been a 1st down anyway.

First half Buff defense was every bit as good as Cal’s last week. Haven’t been watching WSU much but Minshaw / WSU offense hasn’t been especially impressive. Lots of passes = lots of yards.
 
Montez is thinking about the beating he is going to take every time he drops back. When he fumbled, he had no reason NOT to stand tall in the pocket against a three man rush. Sherman got pantsed by a simple speed rush. The last sack they sent Travon to help Bumbling Kaiser and those two still gave up the sack. It is hard to be a qb when you feel like a pinata every pass play.

Gun shy. He has taken more shots than Buster Douglass.
 
This feels like a halftime where somehow we're still in a "winnable" game at just the disparity of a field goal...and Wazzu will make halftime adjustments to dial it in and blow us out, and we'll make halftime adjustments to further loosen the lugnuts and let the universe correct itself so we still get blown out.

I hope I'm wrong, but I've been a Buffs fan for a long time.
