BRUTAL day to race! They deserve a ton of credit for keeping it under control for the first half and then running negatives to bring it home.

CU scorers- Saarel 8th (7th); Pearson 17th (15th); Thereox 24th (19th); Murphy 39th (30th); Moussa 95th (78th). (1st # listed is overall place, while the one in parentheses is the official for team scrores, and excludes runners who were running as individuals so don't get counted in calculating team scores.) Now- it's the ladies turn. Run strong Buffs!

The four runners above 40th place are named All-Americans

CU not listed in the top 8 teams as of the 2K interval mark of the women's race. Don't think it matters a lot, as I don't think the men were either.

Kipp looked to have finished around 10th. I believe that will make her the 1st (female?) CU 4 time All American in Cross Country. (Please correct me if I'm wrong. Going off (suspect) memory.)

A great 9th place finish by Kipp!

She didn't run her best race at the PAC-12 Championships, which is unfortunate, because if she had, the CU women most likely would've won. However, at regionals she ran better, and she kicked ass today. Well done!

Must have been a tough day for Clark and especially Verdon,as Verdon has been runner #2 and Clark #3 all year. Still, Buffs were ranked 10[SUP]th[/SUP] up until the Pac 12’s, so 7[SUP]th[/SUP] isn’t a bad place.

The CU championship is even more surprising when you look at the fact that one of the Buff's top runners - Connor Winter - had a very down day. The great news is that CU was able to overcome that as a team, and Connor is only a Freshman (and a great kid), so he should have a few more chances to put this behind him.

Ben Saarel - natty for you! Nice job for a freshman, Mr. All American.

Morgan Pearson - natty for you! Nice job Mr. All American.

Blake Theroux - natty for you! Nice job Mr. All American.

Pierce Murphy - natty for you! Nice job Mr. All American.

Ammar Moussa - natty for you!

Zach Perrin - natty for you!

Connor Winter - natty for you!

NCAA championship = automatic donation!

Men positioned VERY well for the future, as none of the runners here look to be seniors!?! Also, I believe last year's top scorer Jake Hurysz, who was a senior, was out all year with injuries so, if it works out for him otherwise, he might be back (via redshirt this year) next year. Three of the Women's five scorers were Freshmen (Clark and Nun) or Sophomores (Verdon), so they also have a strong base going forward. Congrats to all the great runners, and thanks for representing CU so well!

Great season, ladies!

#2 in the Pac-12 and #7 in the nation. When that comes with some disappointment, you know that you're damn good!

Fantastic finish for the Lady Buffs! Start of a great Buff day. Men XC Natty, Women 7th. Women Soccer ends a great season in the round of 16 and the FB team will __________ $C in Folsom tonight!
