Naming rights for CSU's new stadium - ideas?

Or you get the guy who wants the series to be rotated at the following sites 'CSU, CU, CSU, CU, Denver'

For years we heard how important the game is in Denver - but man CSU is ready to drop it now that they might be getting a new stadium!

I look forward to playing in a 20,000 seat stadium in Foco. God Bohn better tell them to shove it.

The guy who is convinced they're gonna start out 5-0 is another good one.

I do want this game to end - but I would enjoy beating them in their first game in their new stadium, then having our students rush the field and stomp their logo in retribution for them doing that when they won in Boulder a few years back.

That would be a glorious insult

I think it would make much more of a statement if the students simply gave a golf clap.

Maybe - and I understand your point - but I would enjoy the fact that the first time Goat Field at Cornfed Stadium was rushed was by our fans. That would stick with the history of the stadium forever.

This is growing on me. Their inaugural game at Bleat Sheep Bleat field at Jellyderp stadium is a loss to the Buffs.

Well according to one rn poster, we no longer have Mason Crosby which gives them the edge

I' sure all the on-campus stadium proponents will dismiss this story:

Minnesota opened TCF Bank Stadium in 2009, but it seems the novelty of the new stadium is beginning to wear off on students.

According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, with only a few weeks left until Minnesota's home opener against New Hampshire -- Minnesota opens its season on the road against UNLV -- the school has sold only 2,000 student season ticket plans.

Compare that to when the school sold 10,000 student season ticket plans in the first year of the stadiums existence. That number has decreased each season, with 7,800 being sold in 2010 and 6,000 being sold in 2011.

Now the Gophers have sold only a third of last season's total, a very rapid decline.

You're focusing (as is Minnesota) on a single element of a comprehensive, full-spectrum plan of awesomeness. A stadium itself doens't get it done. Did Minnesota go well beyond their budget to hire a National Championship Coach? Did they give Lady Gaga her own office in the stadium? Do they rent the stadium for weddings? And what kind of sponsor is TCF Bank? Ever hear of Goldman Sachs? At this point, I'm not even sure Minnesota completed a feasibility study.

Apples and oranges. A non-sequiter. A red-herring. You're too stupid to read. I've explained this to you a thousand times.

Hey, look what $60 million builds! A 18k seat high school stadium in Texas.

Throw some grandstands in the endzone on the right and you have enough room for the average home crowd the last 5 years.

Seriously, CSU wants to spend $300 million on a stadium? So they can host the likes of Utah State and San Jose State, and probably get beat? $60 million sounds more prudent to me.

Wait, so Minnesota isn't selling many seats at their on campus stadium? Only 2000 students? Hmm, attendance was good the first few years, then the newness wore off? Those club seats are a little slow now huh? That was a good use of $285 million. Good thing they get Big Ten money and get home games against big time draws like Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Nebraska, etc. Can you imagine how empty that stadium would be if they played Fresno and Nevada? What if Minnesota weren't a school with 2x the students and 2x the alumni as CSU, and what if they weren't in a metro area that's bigger than Denver? Hmm.

Hey asshole you are missing the point. They deserve a $300 million stadium.

Funny thing with the gopher stadium is TCF paid way for for naming rights that lamb will ever get from Earl's Tractor and Feed.
