Just got an invite to take a survey on the state of athletics at CU....I am sure most of you did too. How did you respond?

In the shadow of the Flatirons, in a conference whose limitless potential is a perfect match for our ambitions—in so many ways, we’re exactly where we want to be.
But in some fundamental ways, we are not.
We believe athletics at CU plays a key role to fortify the larger whole of our high-caliber university experience. In a time when we have introduced several state-of-the-art academic and student facilities to campus, we can capitalize on this historic Pac-12 move by making critical investments in athletics. Today, we have a rare opportunity to build on the momentum of this historic move and invest broadly in CU Buffs athletics.

  • We must make our budget sustainable and optimize our operations by fully integrating our facilities and enhancing our revenue streams.
  • We must inspire our student-athletes and provide the resources they require for success on and off the field.
  • We must improve the game-day experience to honor our loyal fans and attract new ones, developing first-class facilities to match our first-class setting.
  • We must build our athletic endowment to support scholarships in perpetuity across our 17 Division I teams, freeing up funds to bolster CU’s athletic and academic missions.

just showed up in my email.

The University of Colorado Athletics is investigating the possibility of a major renovation of the football stadium.

Through a planning study, we are seeking the opinions and perceptions of CU alumni and friends of CU Athletics. To assist us with this important task, we have retained the services of Pursuant Sports, a professional consulting firm that has worked with a significant number of similar organizations throughout the United States.

I want one.
I'd tell CU to **** or get off the pot. No need to half ass this thing. They need to do it right.

Therefore, I am requesting your input and counsel, and I would appreciate 5 to 8 minutes of your time to take part in our web survey. The survey asks for your opinion on a number of issues related to the feasibility of creating an athletic department of sustainable excellence. Your responses will be tabulated by Pursuant Sports and kept strictly confidential.

If you are a current CU football season ticket holder or Buff Club member, you will receive 50 bonus priority points for your complete participation in this survey.

Thank you for your support in this important effort.

I can't get back into the survey, but basically it asks if you think upgrades are important if leadership can achieve these goals etc.

I put "bring back beer" in the additional comments section.

yeah, the next person to do the survey, try and copy the questions and post them here. I should have done that, but did not, and cannot get back in now..

yeah i got it and filled it out. I sincerely hope that they take into consideration what the answers are and this isnt just some smoke-screen to make it look like they want the fans opinion.
