Predictions for RMS

It's awfully quiet around here - where's all the CSEwe smack? Gasm and IHCU get beaten with the ban stick?

I'm feeling mostly worn out thinking about this game, talking about this, arguing about this game.

Ready for it to be over tomorrow so we can move on with football season

As of Wednesday we sold 33,594 total with 7,249 student tix. With 25k season ticket holders, that means we've sold barely over 1k single game tickets?

Is it really that surprising?

Even though we've sold 35K tickets, I would seriously doubt that 35K CU fans actually show up.

A comment in the Denver Post I thought you all would appreciate

Good article Kiz, Jack Graham is right. The problem isn't Denver or Mile High. It is that BOTH schools have terrible programs. I'm not sure what 'buffedup' is talking about as Graham never blamed cu for the game's ills. He said both teams are down and that shows at the ticket office. If CSU returns to being a winning program, like when Coach Lubick ran the show, the enthusiasm of CSU fans will return as well. It's been 10 years since they've had a good season and the fans need a shot in the arm. Great hire in McElwain, now they need to build the stadium and get after it. You simply need to go back to the late '90s to see that Hughes was standing room only. Coach McElwain will get them back to winning and at that time regardless of the location, CSU fans will support the Rams.

I do however want to mention something else that effects attendance. I've talked to 4 or 5 people in just the past week who said they don't go to the game anymore because of what they feel is an obnoxious and unsafe atmosphere. Each said they wouldn't take their kids there again because of the abusive crowds. That, buffedup, I would blame on the cu kids. Drunk and abusive is being kind. Really no different than what I've witnessed at Folsom and I think if you ask any visiting fan, they'll tell you the same. It's the usual thing where a 10% of the people are causing the problem - unfortunatly that 10% are so overboard that it makes it look like 50%.

Haven't been on here in a few years...let alone post something but f n a this is ridiculous. So it's all the CU kids that are the problem? WTF where is this guy from? If he's talking about only 10% causing the problem....I think that's about what the sheep f*****s attendance is.

I haven't seen CSU this ****y in a loooooonnnnggggg time

Subject: "Embree is not the answer"
Posted by: State on Fri Aug 31 2012 12:14:12 PM
will be heard loud and clear starting sunday after a CSU win tomorrow...

I honestly cannot wait till we win, but Im going to hate another 2
years of CU fans bitching about their coach.

CU fans have been bitching about their coach for the past 10 years. I
may have to avoid the denver post after sundays headline "CSU Wins
Showdown in Lopsided Fashion"

Wow, the feasible ewes have determined Embree is not the answer. CSewe wins in a lopsided fashion? That is the goat fan post I expect. I have a little coaching prediction: CSewe will find out they hired Coach Fair 2.0 on Saturday, at three times the price. And that my friends is why they are, and always will be, Goat U.

Of course they say that; Embree is 1-0 against them.

Might as well get you all fired up today

Subject: Is the most crucial game in ucb history?

Their fanbase is eroding. Demographics are and will continue to be on the side of the
Rams, maeaning our fanbase contiinues to grow while their alum move back home
to CA and the east coast. They are looking at seven straight losing seasons. Lose
this weekend and I beiieve they are in for decades of suckitude. Definitely a
crossroad type game for them.

stop posting ram **** on our board. We know they are stupid and irrational, we don't need constant proof.

I like how it's almost 24 hours before the game and I still haven't received my email to print off my ticket. CU Ticket office FAIL, I called for them to say it would be sent "sometime today." Thanks arseholes, no shi*. Because I have time to wait around and have printer access. Not:rolling_eyes:

the thing i don't quite understand is how they can be THIS delusional about college football, the relative health of the programs, and everything else.

they may, in fact, win (although i doubt it), but we're in the p12, we generate millions of dollars, we out-recruit them every year by miles, our alumni base and our attendance numbers are light years ahead of them. these are the facts. one game doesn't define the health of a program for "decades" at a time.

they just can't possibly be this ****ing stupid.

they aren't a bcs team. they won't be one for years, if at all. their stadium is a **** hole. they don't have the money to build a new one. they sell fewer tickets than an average texas high school team. their budget is a tenth of ours. they play dog-**** teams, in a collapsing dog-**** conference.

it is one.****ing.game. it doesn't validate them or their program, nor does it destroy CU.

are they all licking lead-paint for breakfast in fort flatlands?

there MUST be a handful of them that aren't this ****ing dumb.
