Holland is a guy I'd really like to land this cycle. Good genes (dad played a decade in the League), already has the body to play D1 but needs to develop technique, and he comes across as a high-character, smart kid in his interviews. Plus with both parents being CU grads, it brings a great perspective to the locker room like it did with Clay Norgard to further build the Buff family atmosphere. I'm really hoping that he decides to stay home and be a Buff.

Added an ASU offer.

He is waiting for more offers before he decides. I can't tell how much his father, who I am assuming was Darius 'Dirty D' Holland, will have on his decision making. Darius was one hel_l_ of a player back in the day. I sure hope that Isaiah has the same mean streak and he picks CU.

On one hand, playing for the same school your father played for might be a big thrill. Keeping up traditions and all that. On the other hand, young Isaiah may want to blaze his own path.

When it's a legacy, it usually ends up either a "stone cold lock" or "no real shot" situation.

Isaiah Holland's recruitment has taken a big upward swing in the last few months and as the offers have rolled in, the Highlands Ranch (Colo.) Valor Christian product has had a tough time keeping up with all the attention.

Isaiah Holland holds four Pac-12 offers.

Washington State was one of the latest programs to offer the 6-foot-4, 300-pound offensive tackle and when his coaches informed him of the news, he was humbly surprised.

The kid seemed to be handling the Fresno Central DT on the game the other night pretty well. That was pretty good competition and I'd guess that the game film from that game (not highlights, but the whole game) will be studied by quite a few coaches.

This kid's recruiting will possibly rocket if he did well on a consistent basis. He certainly was doing pretty well on some of their key plays, as was Ruth.

Claims academics is a top priority. We definitely offer the best combo of academics/football of his current offers.

I am starting to think we need to take every lineman we can get our hands on and just let PWO guys play RB/FB/TE. Until we can block the types of guys we are landing at those positions isn't helping. I am hoping Mr. Holland decides for CU. Their is alot of opportunity to play and develop here.

MM needs to start working on a pipeline with this school. They are the new Mullen. The best and brightest athletes play at high a level of ball here in Colorado. Holland being an ex Buffs kid, would be a great start and at a position we are in need of badly. Bring It !

"I have my top four of Oregon State, Washington State, CU and West Point (Army)," Holland told BuffStampede.com assistant editor William Whelan at the All-Colorado awards ceremony at Six Zero Strength earlier this week. "But I am looking to keep it a little bit more open for one more spot just so that if someone comes late in the game, I can still take a visit because I know I want to take a visit if I get another school [to offer].

West Point would be an amazing place to go to school. I'm not sure I could concentrate on all the classwork that would be required, though. It's one of the most breathtaking spots I've ever seen.

Yeah, but the spots they send you afterward aren't so breath taking.

Yah West Point would be great if you didn't have to deal with academy life. The best is watching people waterski on the Hudson mid drill in 100 degree heat.

Just finished watching the first half of the 5A state championship game. This kid has come a long way in the last year. If his heart is in it, he's a D1 player for sure.

Want Holland.

That whole Valor line is sick. Borderline unfair to opposing teams. Watched the 5a championship and the first 3 or 4 plays set the tone for the day... There were some good looking athletes in the 4a game also.

I hope we offer. Kid has talent...and with what his Dad brought to CU, I think he should come to CU if he wants to.

Think I need to start going to the Valor games. That's the church we go to anyway...not sure I can swing the money to send my girls there though.
