Welcome to the Buffs!!!

I believe that Adam stated Kaiser's still only 16 years old. Lots of upside here.

Bakhtiari was heavily recruited by Washington and Utah, which were pretty decent offers at the time. Certainly not elite offers but he was hyped up after blowing up his SR year and stonewalling Kevin Greene

Adam has moved this commitment to the public list on the BuffStampede home page, so I'm activating the profile on our public board.

Welcome to the B&G, Mr. Kaiser!

WELCOME TO THE BLACK & GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there any chance some of these guys will GS. We are still appearing to go with the development formula for OL/DL/LB. It is going to take time for these guys. I do like all the projectable size we are going to have on the team.

I think we'll see some greyshirts. I almost always favor it with OLs if they're willing to do it since so few are ready to even give a good look on scout team as a 1st semester freshman.

Agree. Also think coming in for fall is tough because the position coaches are more focused on the guys who are going to be playing in the games along with active recruiting, not a lot of teaching gets done.

When they greyshirt they get the extra spring practices where they can have a lot more attention from the coaches setting them up to get a lot more development out of their RS years.

Even bigger with a kid this young who still has a lot of physical maturing to do. I could also see the extra time helping him with some emotional maturity making him more ready and comfortable for the pressures and opportunities of college.

I don't think he was heavily recruited. According to this Rivals article, he did not have the UW offer as of 1/18 and it was between Utah (a Non BCS team at the time) and CU, who was already heavily wounded.

The interest level is probably pretty similar given it's 12/15 and he has one BCS offer (and is now committed).

Welcome aboard young man. And I mean young. Hope you grayshirt and can come in during the Spring.

Another thing I just heard is that he has recently handled some D1 Defensive Ends in late season that Colorado was looking at.

Crespi has a kid with SJSU offer, committed to Fresno State, who was having contact with Colorado at one time. I'm sure staff has studied some full-game tape.

Not quite as athletic as I had hoped. I think he could easily play Guard. Hopefully this doesn't mean the staff thinks they'll lose Rodriguez

A Washington offer is listed.

2* on Rivals and Scout now. Profiles created on ESPN and 247sports.

Chatter that he's got a world of potential.

So I finally watched the tape. Hard to tell sometimes on OL, but woah. Sleeper of the class IMO.

He's not a mauler, but he's really quick at the snap. As young as he is, I'd love to see him grow another inch or two if he's going to play OT.

I think his arm length is more important than his total height. There have been some really good tackles that don't have ideal height but they're able to make up for it with their athleticism, reach, and technique. But in saying that it's really hard to less than 6'4" and be a successful tackle, so if he's not at least 6'4" (I think he is that tall btw) I totally agree with you.

I had the same impression. Good feet, good base, and played with leverage. Raw materials are there to be a good OL for us.
