Where do we think Booker finishes? we have at least 12 games left.

He good. Hope he goes out on a high note. I want to see #TournamentSki in Vegas.

Interesting thing to me is that despite the volume shooting, the sophomore slump and the low shooting percentage that people get upset over... Ski is still good for well over 1 point per shot he has taken over the course of his career. 1,362 attempts for 1,518 points (most basic easy math method of seeing if a guy is an efficient offensive player). Most impressive thing is how he's re-invented himself his junior and senior year to increase his scoring while also doubling his assist rate to around 30%.

Hell of a player.

It's been ski season for me since about the ASU game. This team has been tough to root for this season, but I'll still be tuning in to watch him gut it out every night.

Other than watching Ski, I don't think I've been this apathetic about CO MBB since the end of the Patton era.

I'm hoping this ends well for ski. It's sad to watch this season, as he's worked his ass off for 4 years and been a great buff - he was the leading scorer in charleston & at the UNLV game his frosh year (and had a solid p12 tourney in vegas).
I'm sure he was hoping to have a shot at the NCAA's his senior year, but that has been mostly wiped out. (though honestly, after the arizona game Its possible for the chips to fall in the right places and we have an easy walk to the conf title game - unlikely, but possible)

Agreed. I think the team has the potential to make a run or make things interesting in the Pac-12 tournament. The key is to get a top four seed obviously. If we are to upset Arizona/Utah in the tournament which isn't in the realm out of possibility with conference tournaments always ending up weird. My hope for the season is to send Ski out well and have some exciting moments throughout the season.

I want nothing but success for ski, but would be weird to see him pass my boys, Vandiver and Wise. Had a class with one and lived in the dorms with another.

I guess this is success and we will see more of it. Go Ski!

A few totals..

Assuming 5% Below His Season Average: 182.2 points with 12 games, 212.6 points with 14 games
Assuming Average: 195.6 points with 12 games, 228.2 with 14 games
Asusming 5% Above His Season Average: 201.78 points with 12 games, 235.4 points with 14 games

Once I got past the rpi stress, I just lowered my expectations. Sure ASU and Udub hurt but I can still enjoy the season.

You can see ski play his final games as a buff
You can watch our sophomore players progress from game to game
You can get excited for Miller time

This is a trick question as he's swung from 5 pts to 30 in the last 4 games. But in general he's been above avg recently. I'd guess an average of 18 so 216 points.

I still dream of Ski going nuts in Sin City. He was on the All-Tournament team a year ago (very much deserved), and seems to thrive on back-to-back games. Regardless of how the next month and a half goes, we're going to be dangerous at the MGM.

On a larger note, you don't just luck into being top-10 in scoring, even at a program like CU's. That's a serious testament to the kid, and one I hope this fanbase doesn't gloss over. It sucks that this year hasn't gone as planned, because I wanted Ski to Dance all four years, but he has earned his standing on the all-time rolls at this school.

Yet we are still seeing posts saying Ski shouldn't start (haven't seen one here for a few days, still alive and well on another Buff board). Just unreal

Ski would start at almost every PAC school and most schools in any conference.

Absolutely. By apathetic I don't mean I don't care at all. I'lI be going to a couple fewer games this season, my social life isn't completely planned around tipoff and I've relinquished control of the remote when they're down 30 to Utah.

I still have hope that they can get healthy and get it together and make a run in Vegas.

It wasn't that long ago that a season with an outside shot at an NIT bid was a damn good season. I'm not that spoiled yet.

I realize I'm insane about hoops and a total fanatic (so you can ignore this other than to laugh at me), but I keep looking at the schedule and convince myself that our Buffs can win out these last 11 games, or failing that, win enough to get on the bubble and peak at the Pac-12 tournament with a title. I know. I know. But I won't get to the acceptance phase unless/until there's an L at the end of the final conference tourney game.

Not sure I can imagine finishing the season with a long winning streak - but as for the conference tournament - that's why it exists! I'm guessing after the next 3 games you might be focusing more on the tournament. Would be nice if I'm wrong though.

While I do think you're insane, crazier things have happened to far worse teams - see 2007 Colorado Rockies

Selfish player. Should be giving those shots to players who are less likely to make them. A true team player would.

He'll probably try to dunk with six seconds left so he can get his 45. We probably would have won by 10 in regulation without him. Showboating mother****er.
Wait, I, um. .. this isn't actually sarcastic, is it?

"Hello. I'm Nik. And I'm an alcoholic." Just keep repeating that.
