Has a nice, compact release. He seems to get some nice zing on the throw without winding up.

Curious about his mechanics, specifically lifting the back foot on many throws in the vid. It seems a bit exagerated. Maybe someone who knows more about qb's could chime in.

The way he moves and his mannerisms remind me of Andrew luck for some reason. Looks like a clone when he runs.

O'Brien appears to be visiting Nebraska this weekend with family. The kid is not afraid of competition. Great trait for sure.

Anybody notice that he said this?

"I'm hoping to make a decision by the end of the month or sometime in June so this visit will be big for me. I visited Northwestern recently and thought they might offer but they want to come out and see me throw and I have interest in them as well. I would love to get out to Colorado too if I can, that's my most recent offer and I was excited to get it so I'm looking in to them for sure."

Hopefully he'll give us that visit..

Nice find Jeric. I think we have a real shot at him given the way the other dominoes have fallen

Well his latest quote isn't quite as promising.. I mean sorta.. At least he still clearly wants to visit..

"I told him I didn't want to rush anything because this is all still really new for me but late May or early June is when I would like to commit. I don't have any other visits set up right now. I would love to get to Colorado but my schedule is so full I don't know when I'll be able to. I loved it at Nebraska though, that place is really amazing and I'm very interested. It's a good fit for me but like I said, I just want to go through the process a little more before committing because it's such a huge decision."

Texas Tech picked up their QB, so they seem out of the picture if they were ever in it.

Was it written by a NUb site?

Of course, it was all fluffed up like always. But the schedule being full is mostly what I meant.
I'd take it with a grain of salt, the NUb writer also claimed that we weren't talking to Donovan Lee's younger brother, completely contradicting what he had said a month before.

I mean it was a direct quote from O'Brien, not some editorial from a Nub beat writer so it probably represents where he's at right now.

If more of us realized the vast majority of Tini's posts are purely his optimism-fueld opinions, he'd be a lot easier to take.

Nebraska publishers are notorious for recruiting in their updates and asking leading questions.
Recruits always boast about Nebraska, their academic support, the crazy fan base, the facilities. Did all that stand out to you too and then some? I am sure you were ready to commit, but something held you back. What did you tell coach Riley? Etc.
