From Howell's chat:

The Buffs open with Iowa State (potential Top 5 team) in Sioux Falls, SD on Nov. 13. They'll also play at Auburn and at Colorado State. The only other thing I know beyond that is they will be playing in the Las Vegas Classic, which is a four-game event with two games on campus (and I think CU will host both of those) and two games in Vegas, I believe Dec. 22-23.

Did anyone ever figure out if Kenan ended up redshirting and keeping eligibility for that year so he could come here as a RS sophomore?

This is who was in the las Vegas classic last year.

Host Teams*
Boise State Broncos (MW)
Houston Cougars (American)
Loyola of Chicago Ramblers (MVC)
Texas Tech Red Raiders (Big 12)

Visiting Teams
Abilene Christian Wildcats (Southland)
Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions (SWAC)
South Carolina State Bulldogs (MEAC)
Southern Utah Thunderbirds (Big Sky)

We are a host school. The other three host schools are Kent State, SMU, and Penn State. (bloggingthebracket.com)

SMU well be a nice rpi boost. Kent state finished 94 this year and Penn State was 108.

We finished at 117 in case anyone is wondering

Abilene Christian is a D1 school?!?!?! I might have to re-think a post I made in a different thread.

I was just at a tour for season tickets for football and basketball and the guy told me that they recently just got a deal with byu and they're coming to The CEC this year

That's a fantastic home date.

Co-worker of mine (some of you met him at the Horse before the Auburn game last year) is an Auburn grad. And Auburn hosts Georgia that Saturday before. I may have to make a trip of this.

My sis lives in Atlanta and i thought that you had a great plan that i was going to copy, but then i remembered that i have kids so it is not happening for me

End of the season is gonna be roouuuuggggghhhhh

Man we just can not catch a break on the final games of the regular season.

Love the BYU visit. Hope we learn to guard the perimeter or else some usual BYU player named something like "Trip" will hit 12 threes.

I suppose this could be worse. We usually get the last 3 or so games on the road, this year it's just 1. perhaps next year they'll give us 1 at home to close.
No desert trip, which is nice.
and as far as having utah over break, at least it's not ucla like it usually is.

Yes lose the killer game in Arizona, but lose the easier road game at U$C.

We haven't had any luck playing at ASU either.

It's actually a great schedule in terms of difficulty. It sucks in terms of our rivalries developing against the South teams.

Just noticed a real schedule conflict. Bball vs. Cyclones is the same night football plays USC under the lights on ESPN. WTF.
