not sure how everyone else feels, but I really was hoping Tad would offer this kid. Every other year or so, take a flier on a CO kid, and I think Walton has decent potential.

It's no secret that I'm a big fan of this offer.

I think I started hyping him to @Goose in November during pre-game of the CU home opener.

Love the potential here. If healthy, an absolute steal in recruiting.

I can vouch for this.

Is he - 6'10" or the 7 Ft i have seen tossed around?

Reports were 6'10"... then the most recent article had him grown to 7' for his senior year. He hadn't really played since he was a soph.

I think a healthy Walton is the #1 recruit in the state.

With both ACL's torn and repaired, the risk of reinjury goes down right? Now the concern would be about his explosiveness?

No we have 2 slots opening up - Talton and Scott

Yes but it seems like Tad knows if he can land an elite big man for next year they can contend for a Pac-12 championship. So he can bring in Walton and then still look for another big to contribute ASAP.

This kid has tremendous potential. If his knee can stay intact, CU got an absolute awesome player here, IMO. A redshirt year and then play in the 2017-18 season will be ideal. I'm with Nik on this. Could be an amazing player down the road.

I don't see crazy athleticism, but I do see enough to work with. Good looking shot too. Feet were what worried me, especially with the knee injuries. They look good to me though.

I'll never understand how any basketball player comes back from one, let alone multiple, knee ligament tears. Sounds like a player tho and I'd love to get him in the B&G!

This had to be a show us your healthy and then we'll offer situation, right? The little bit I've seen about him this year is that he appears healthy.
