Buffs @ Bears (MBB)

Thank you to the Buffs who played today. Fought like mofos today. I've got nothing but love for those guys right now and can't wait to cheer them on this week. Need these home games. Get it to 5-8 in the conference and dreams of the Dance are very much alive.

Dug themselves out of a 20pt hole in first half after not scoring for six minutes.

Fought hard and made it a close game.

If Tad doesn't address this problem DIRECTLY in the next few days (i.e., kicking both of them off the team) ... I'm officially done with supporting his program this year. And I've been an avid fan and supporter since the Chauncey days.

No ... I don't ... and none of us will likely ever will due to the federal educational privacy laws I cited earlier. But if those violations were serious enough for Tad to sit arguably his two best defensive players on a team that apparently lives or dies with defense .... that tells me something. Do you disagree?

I don't disagree. But Tad has suspended players before. It was probably a curfew thing or something.
 
I'll just leave this here and hope to never post about them again.

Gordon has not improved much since being a buff and johnson, while playing hard has his moments.

This could have been a win if these two would have acted like 5th year seniors but they screwed their teammates and that is a very bad look.

Great 2nd half defense. Half the time Cal offense seemed lost, didn't know what to do.

It's this sort of logic that makes you still believe in Trump. These players justed ass-****ed our season for selfish reasons. Kick them off the team Tad.

With all due respect ... it's more than a "very bad look" ... it's ****ing inexcusable. If these two guys are still on the roster come Monday ... I'm done with CU MBB for the season. I'm ****ing serious. Tad ... either send a message to your team, or don't. But I will have officially lost all respect for you as a coach if you don't expel these two assholes from the team.
 
SD posted the disgusting pic of those two tucking it up on Twitter. As leaders, it's disgusting.
 
The posts about kicking them off the team are ridiculous and reactionary to tbe extreme. Bench them... Fine. One team rules infraction and their gone? Stupid.

FWIW, these two players are the cancers for different reasons, but Im still saying you cant just kick them off the team.
 
Didn't see the game however it's one thing if you're a freshman and make that mistake. But as 5th year seniors that's pathetic and both of them are a disease to the program.

Then **** 'em. I don't ever want see them play a game for CU again. And if Tad doesn't get that, maybe he should start thinking about his immediate future here also. I'm ****ing tired of seeing players who don't have a team concept getting playing time and not being benched for that reason. Seriously Tad ... get a ****ing clue.

Yes ... I'm ****ing angry ... because I actually care.

Histrionics are impressive
 
Despite a turnaround this past week (ironically triggered by Tad sitting his starters including these two to start a game) hard to say this season isn't pretty well over with the team constructed the way it is.

At what point does Tad just decide that winning is important but setting a tone and creating a culture for his five new freshmen to enter into next year is more important. At what point does Tad decide to move on from XJ and Wes and go with the guys who are bought in to playing for the Buffs instead of for themselves.

I felt like King, Fortune and White got the message from that stunt of sitting the starters. King's been diving for loose balls. Fortune's been dialed in with his defense. White's picked up his intensity and assertiveness. XJ and Wes been up & down after that, like they've been their whole careers.
 
XJ and Wes should be done. Laetitia the others get the playing time and develope. That was a horrible display by the two of them. Hope the core coming back next year get the chance to prove themselves the rest of the wayear.
