Arizona Game - Official Thread (10/7, 6 PM, Pac-12 Network)

4 win season. Book it. Will lose RB...Tackle from Tenn.....better hope this OK class is lime 2001....thank Leavitt for last year.....

Why would we lose those guys? Playing time is plentiful, and the current RB just ran for 281?

I find myself thinking that I wish they had kept Umu on the team. At least that sob would have kicked someone’s arse and the D would probably have more attitude and swagger just because he was around.

CU won 10 games last year on a miracle fluke season. How many 4 star players this year? 0.
For whatever reason everything came together last year. That team was really good, those wins weren’t flukes. It is starting to feel like last year was an aberration though.

I don’t think this is all that complicated.

1 - We are poorly coached. Play calling and not sticking with the run cost us the game last week. Not being able to stop a QB from running all over us lost the game tonight.

2 - Offensive line can’t pass protect. That messes everything up on offense.

3 - “It” factor isn’t there this year. Team doesn’t seem to have any leadership, or will.

Having said that let’s not completely blow this out of proportion. We’ve lost two games by a total of 7 points that we can probably blame ourselves for. Against teams that aren’t bad. UCLA and U of A are probably in the 35-45 range in all of college football. Not like these teams are bad. Not world beaters, but not bad teams by any means.

Turns out TALENT ACTUALLY MATTERS IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL.

They had one guy, a backup and this defense couldn't stop them once in the second half. Just keep recruiting like they are and it will be another 10 years before a winning season. But hey, we've got a **** load of wr's!

I'm the only one on the score prediction thread who said AZ would win ... and was called a Husker fan because of it. Every on here is just blind to how bad this team is (Lindsey excluded, of course.)

This result (and all the results to follow, maybe even next week) have been obvious since week 1.

And if anyone on here says anything like "We have the talent, we just need to ______________", I'm gonna puke. No. We don't have talent. Otherwise, we'd win. It's the same **** that so may people on here say about the basketball team. Bull****. Talented players execute. We don't. End of story.
**** off you ****y troll

Offense has gone 2 games without a turnover, was efficient in many aspects and had an amazing performance by the RB. With such poor OL play, and a completely terrible defense performance, we lost, simple as that. Our margin for error is very thin and we are paying back all the wins we had last year.

As much as we bitch about Javier, it became crystal clear why he is starting after we saw what the defense looks like without him. Ugh.

It is also crystal clear that the 3 dudes we had last year really put forth a huge effort that helped us win. This year, we have one guy that is playing close to that level and a couple of guys that just do not have the same level of talent and courage. Need to nail down some studs. Also need to have Callier and Sparaco on the field more!!!

Yep. Jackson is playing winning football on the DL. That's it.

Also, we have issues at the 2nd level. Lewis has been a player. But Gamboa is so limited, McCartney is a shadow of his former self, and no one is giving us the Gilbert pass rush. Moeller makes some plays, but it's also pretty obvious that he's limited. Need to play the underclassmen.

The biggest mistake of the night (other than choosing not to tacklr their backup qb) was not going for the onside kick after our last td. It made absolutely no difference where their drives started.
onside kick may not be in the playbook
