CU @ Utah Game Thread (11/25, 8PM on FS1)

Not sure you can find a bigger Macintyre fan than me. Time for him to go.

I’ll never ever forget how he took us from where we were to being relevant again. But he’s hit his ceiling and isn’t the guy anymore.

Yep, I think I’m on board now. There’s a whole lotta quit in this team.

I thought there was no way CU would fire Mac this season, even though he deserves it. Now I'm not so sure, after looking like we are back in the Embree-era. Can anyone say they look forward to MacIntyre's team next season? Does anyone want to see what that looks like?

I am going to bet you that we did not TACKLE at all during the last two weeks of practice. We got softer than we already were, while Utah had a brawl against Washington and stayed tough and has a chip on their shoulder.
I have heard that MAC advocates for less contact, less tackling, and pretty sure he took it easy on his team instead of making it tougher.

Game is the perfect summary to the season. Getting the crap beat out of us on both lines. As tough as it is to admit, it’s obvious some guys are already done for the year. Even the announcer is noticing (asking if guys didn’t want to play tonight).
I hope all recruits are already in bed.

“...his team just was not ready to play tonight.”

“They do not look like the team that just came out of a bye.”

...

Everybody sees it

Agree. I think the issue is the extension he just signed. What would we owe him?

I think he can get us to 6 or 7 wins, maybe even 8 with a few breaks. Whippee!

And they walk to the locker room...Hell even Bob Simmons, one of the nicest coaches and men to ever walk the earth would get in your ass for that ****. The team, staff, trainers, everyone has quit on this season.

There is no way I want to see this exact type of team next season, so the answer is that RG will not stand for this, so something is going to happen, and it will be interesting to see. I strongly believe that Lindgren will be gone for sure. Hopefully with all these jobs open, he can move onto another staff somewhere. Sadly, I just do not see MAC getting fired, because of the extension.

Did the way the whole Tumpkin situation was handled kill MM's desire to be here? There is no passion or fight in the players or the staff and that has to come from the top. (Phillip Lindsay excepted.)

So what do we really think happened last season? Enough talent that this staff couldn’t screw it up completely? Teams ego got to big? Sefo’s heart made all the difference?

How can you put forth the worst game of the season off of a bye, against an average team, in good weather? Just stunning how bad they have become.

Football is a game that thrives on emotion, and they have zero.

OBTW... I also heard, from a second hand account, that there is no joy in Mudville among the players. Losing does that, but I got the impression that it is beyond the losing part.

Against Utah, Embo’s teams always stepped up and played well at the end of the season. Even in defeat, they fought to close the season on a high note. That carried over through the Macintyre era.

Not tonight. We’ve gotten whipped like one of Adrian Peterson’s kids....

we've quit. coaches, staff, players, fans, administrators. this is a ****ing awful performance.
