You have to be from Iowa to come up with that one.
.
.
Currently, the top ten egg producing states (ranked by number of layers represented in thousands) are:
  • Iowa – 53,044.
  • Ohio –27,869.
  • Indiana – 26,491.
  • Pennsylvania – 24,244.
  • California –16,261.
  • Texas – 14,786.
  • Michigan – 12,646.
  • Minnesota – 9,982.
A lot of people are saying that your mother/sister is feasting on an Alabama Hot pocket. Never mind the space docking.

 A lot of people knowing about such things should be a cause for concern. But it's not. That's strange.
A lot of people are saying that your mother/sister like this sort of thing. Where could they have learned such behavior? Maybe from your cousins?

Since Lady Gaga bailed out on the halftime show, looks like the Sheep are having a hard time selling tickets to their home opener with Hawaii.

I was thinking that I might pop up there and catch the game, but tickets start at $41. I can see goats frolic at the petting zoo for under $5.

The shine is now gone from the new turd

I think it's great that they built an on-campus stadium but it really is too bad that they don't get better support, especially given how much Fort Collins has grown.
csu’s “New” stadium is such trash. Isn’t there a woman on this forum who worked on their new stadium. I’ve seen better high school football stadiums in Texas compared to that peice of garbage up in foco.

My God, Nubs are the biggest suckers for Russian bot blogs.
It is a very "Uncommon" football season that we will be embarking on and with the help of the Colorado State faithful and coaches, I believe they can bring home a championship if the stars align in accordance. If you would like us to cover your games live, please do not hesitate to ask us to stop by your establishment for the most enlightened football knowledge on the planet.
That kind of humility is truly uncommon.

BTW just because Nebraska is flat does not mean the earth is.

Haha - they are "uncommon" now? How original!

Hawaii's vaunted offense? Finished 3rd from the bottom in points scored in the MWC last year. Frightening!

I do suspect CSU will be better this year on offense as they return real talent at WR and add the UTjr transfer, plus they've upgraded at QB. OL should hold together.

Defense? New scheme new coach. Injuries hit them last year as the season went on. They should be top 1/3 in MWC again. Could be better than that if the D gels as I think they've recruited and developed some athletes over there. Depth is a problem as the season wears on.

A 3rd string QB that transferred because he had to chance to get on the field is not automatically an upgrade over their record setting former QB. I wish people on this board would stop with that assumption. That “upgrade” got shut out by what looks to be a VERY poor defense in a scrimmage

Where are you getting 3rd string? He was the backup for three years. Played in 8 games last year.

27-of-47 passes for 310 yards and three touchdowns in 25 career appearances over three seasons.
9 of 21 passes for 118 yards in the lone start of his career

3rd string might be harsh, but he certainly is pretty green

Yes. But he was their #2 guy and Buff fans would be falling into a trap to write off a guy who spent 3 years as the #2 under Chris Petersen. I expect they will be about as good on offense as last year and better on defense with time. A great team? No. As good or better than the team that looked like the better team last year in this game? Yes.

This is a revenge game for them, in a game that was already their super bowl. If we don't kill them, the sky will be falling. Hate this game.

I don't think anyone on this board would be happy about adding a backup from Washington. What good does him being under Peterson do if he isn't good enough to see the playing field? Just listen/read to the people around the CSU program and it is pretty obvious he hasn't been very good, and accompanied by an average to below average offensive line this isn't a good recipe to maintain the level of offense they have had the last couple of years.

If this was a year where they were returning a bunch of starters and just needed someone at the QB position to lead and make some throws then people would be worried about KJ but they lost one of the best receivers in the history of their program, a bunch of offensive lineman including a 4 year starter at center and a QB who tore that league up for 2 years. As we all saw with Sefo last year it is still a big deal to replace someone who had been behind center for that long.

We also get to play their garbage defense early in the season with a ton of new coaches and a new scheme.

I remember when the Georgia transfer QB was an upgrade over Stevens in 2016. holic... as our resident CSU sympathizer, keep fighting the good fight trying to make sure CU fans don't fall into any traps for this game. Gotta make sure the fans take them seriously.

OL should hold together.

Rams lost some All-MWC linemen from last year and while some of this year's OL have a few OL starts, it will show that they are replacing ALL five OL starters from last season. The unit also didn't have that many collective career starts and ranks 125th out of 130 teams and that was before one last remaining OL starter was dismissed so they might be dead last at this point.

OL: https://philsteele.com/2018/06/14/2018-career-starts-offensive-line/

CSU is also dead last in the experience chart from Phil Steele.

I think you are being too optimistic about CSU this upcoming season.

Us being at 107 doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy

I am not convinced they have upgraded at QB. His stats in clean up time against inferior opponents aren't bad (27-46 3TD 1INT). However, whenever he got in a game against a decent team, the Washington coaching staff wouldn't let him throw. He played entire halves where he wasn't allowed to throw the ball even once. That should tell you something about what the Washington coaching staff thought about Carta-Samuels. The CSU offensive line IS going to be quite dramatically worse than in previous years. If the offensive line has the drop off I expect then their RB and WR talent will be wasted. Don't be shocked if their new QB does a decent job running, but when he does get to throw, that he gets hit....and hit....and hit some more.

Their D may not be as bad as last year, but I fully expect they'll start the year by giving up more than 25 to Hawaii and more than 40 to CU and after those two games their confidence may be destroyed. Hawaii's offense started off really well last year and then had injuries that really slowed them down (o line and WR). I'd be surprised if a full off season to prep for CSU's defense didn't lead to Hawaii putting up a lot of points (I'd expect a CSU win something along the lines of 31-28). CSU will play better against Colorado, but without the full off season to focus solely on CU, they will give up big points to Montez and company.

This game isn't going to be close after the first half. CSU is only a 6.5 point dog and I am definitely taking CU and the points...Hell I'd take CU and the points if CSU was a 13 point dog...let alone 6.5.

Ok, sorry. 2nd string. Doesn’t change the fact that he’s replacing a record setting QB and I reiterate, got shut out by their very inexperienced D. And see the other statements above. The staff obviously didn’t trust him too much at Washington

You might be putting too much emphasis on that 107th ranking when it comes to CU. Three new senior starters at WR and two senior starters at RB should offset some of those experience concerns. If we returned Lindsay or one starting WR from last season, we'd be more closer the middle rankings.

One number for CSU to look at is the % of offensive yards returning which is 21.8%. That in addition to a new OL...let's say Bobo leading the Rams to a bowl game this season will be a very good coaching job and perhaps his P5 ticket out of town.
