This week could shake up the 2-deep

Miller will be pushing to win back the starting CB role he had in the spring now that he’s healthy again. We saw some good play on the left side of the line (albeit against NH) with Moretti and Sherman. Still expecting Moretti to be subbed in on a pitch count, but maybe we’ll see far more play from him moving forward.

Curious to see where Jackson ends up in our WR depth chart. He’s made some ridiculous catches in camp while healthy.

Corner is the only place on defense I anticipate a shake up. On offense, could be at WR or OL.

I think we could see Wells earn more PT at OLB. Maybe Van Diest, too, as he's getting healthier and now that he's gotten his feet wet.

I hope for some improvement from the safeties group.
I'm hoping the bye week helps Worthington gets back to himself. He was our best returning player on the defense and he's actually been a liability at times so far. He's so much better than he has shown so far. This defense takes a big step forward when he starts playing like he's capable of playing.

Is he dealing with a concussion since CSU?

i am really stoked to see how we do coming out of the bye-- we have a lot of young talented guys. there is a ton of upside and if we can keep improving, look out p12 south.

Moretti and Sherman also showed well against Nebraska and that wasn't an FCS defense.

Someone needs to teach the OLBs some pass rushing technique. I'm tired of seeing Lewis and Taylor wrestling with an OT to no avail.
You know who has looked good on his pass rush technique? Callier. He does a great job of dipping to create angles and leverage. You're right - too many of the other guys have a speed rush and that's it. If they can't run free they get swallowed while trying to do a bull rush against a guy who has 75 pounds on them.

Sure. Whether it's healing some dents and dings or just reopening the competition at various positions this bye week should result in improvements.

You know what else Callier is good at? Injuring nuhbrasskuh’s shining star QB. Dude should be expelled from life!

Fisher hasn’t looked fantastic either unfortunately

I would like for someone to challenge Wigley for CB#2 and for Tony Brown to earn/solidify his WR#3/4 status. I can see Brown exploding in a few games this year with teams so focused on Viska.

Also, Lytle needs to wake tf up and take the QB#2 job.
The inevitable double-team on Viska is going to open up opportunities big time for the other receivers. Winfree/Brown need to be ready.
