Can you imagine 10 days ago hearing that Tucker was the front runner? There would be jizz all over cellphones and computer monitors across Buffland. Now here we are picking nits.

Mel Tucker would be a f**king unbelievable hire for CU. I love Day, but if he’s not coming, this is a more than acceptable alternative. Coach Tucker Morherf**kers!!

Why shouldn't we? I'm tired of seeing crappy pick after crappy pick (Mac did fair for what it's worth). If we're gonna do it, let's do it right for a change. If RG thinks he's the best and we get him then fine, we'll see what happens. But IMO we all should demand the best we can get.

This is nowhere near a crappy pick. He’s one of the most experienced assistants in major college football, he’s a lights-out recruiter, he oversees one of the best defenses in the country and has coached under Saban at 3 different schools plus time with Kirby Smart. He’s firery, and he’s relatively young. What’s not to like?

Seriously. There are no sure things in hiring coaches, but this is a hire that really can't be criticized.

I didn't mean he would be, I just want to make sure we get the best we can this time. He may or may not end up being great, I just prefer a few others before him. If he's the best we can get then yes, we must get him.
 
Nice thing about Georgia is that even though they are a defensive staff, they're the type of defensive guys who choose to have an offense they'd hate to try to stop instead of designing an offense that protects the defense.

This could be a lot of fun.
 
After the complete dryness of leaks from RG, why did this all leak tonight? Mel's agent leaking it?

Cause he's a trumptard. Jesus H Christ in a chicken basket get over that s***, it's 2019 and Tucker checks all the boxes, monster recruiter, ACHC at 'Bama, DC at OSU, DC at Georgia and what, 6 years as a DC in the league. If he had less melanin in his epidermis you haters would be jizzing all over yourself's for him to be our HC. He's got a better resume than Day. Hoping he's the one.
