I have had a couple non Buff fans ask me what is going on. You know it is a strange situation when fans of other teams are starting to notice and comment on what CU is doing.

And I hope you tell them that good things take time and CU is bringing in a HC and assembling a coaching staff that exceeds the quality of any other program to this point in the cycle.

IF part of the delay has been due to locking up some great assistants, then I’ll be fine with that.
Otherwise, get the damn announcement out already and it has already taken too long.
I would be shocked if AC's were already locked up...I write off the delay to standard CU Admin. ass-grabbery.

A coworker of mine went to Kansas and is a huge Kansas fan (was baby jay at one point), and all I hear is about Les... and the fact we don't have a coach yet.
we can't have nice..... ....... ...... ...... ...... things?
The fact that you let a Kansas fan even entertain the thought of talking **** about anything football is a you problem.

Build up our students, not our stadiums. The recent football stadium renovation and expansion has cost nearly $160-million, which is more than what the university spent on financial aid across all four campuses last year."

I know that MT is being picked up today via plane and it will be announced today, I have a friend connected with the video department at CU and a crew is going to meet the coach and pick him up for content. Unsure about the press conference timing though.

Save for '16 I don't have much of an argument for the past 12 years. She at least acknowledges the shared past ****ty seasons experience. She was there when the school was good though, as I was at CU when it was good (97-01). The fact that I was so entertained reading their flight tracker thread is unfortunate, but think at the time I was hoping CU would swoop in and steal Les from them.

Kansas is the worst P5 football program in college football history, there is nothing anyone there can say about it. There is no way in hell we should ever be competing with Kansas for a coach. Tell them to have fun with Les, no one else wanted him.
Those of you holding a vigil outside Dal Ward or on a hunger strike until the hire was official can all relax now. Go be with your families. They're wondering where you are.

To be fair, KU has hired some good coaches (at the time). From Weiss, to Gill to Mangino, they have hired big/hot names at the time.
