We opened as 10/10.5 favorites with limits. I maxed at one book and line went to 12 for a few hours. Line settled back to 10.5 after I am sure they got some lambchop backers.
I'm not a sports betting guy, but I'd kinda like some of that action. Even better than taking Vegas's money would be finding a Rammie willing to make a bet.

I happen to agree with you and think that the rams will get the ball crammed down their throats during the 2H. With the clock just tick-tick-ticking, it will be u-g-l-y (no alibi). I like anything up to Colorado -13.5.

What has me a little nervous about the game is the new coaching debuts against them are usually the ones the Rams surprise us. Our previous 4 coaches all lost their 1st game against CSU. You have to go back to Neuheisel as the last coach to win his first matchup vs CSU.
*edit, I think Embree might have won his first game vs CSU, but we have still not fared well lately when we have a new coach against them

Difference is CSU had a quality team when Barnett took over, CU was garbage when Hawkins took over, CU was garbage when Embree took over, and CU was garbage when MM took over. Tucker has a far better roster than Embree or MM inherited, and CSU isn't any good.

Barnett started seasons notoriously slow.
Hawkins had the James Cox Bernard Jackson debacle. Lost to Montana State in the opener.
Embree...nuff said.
MacIntyre hangover from Embree, won the rest.

Their returning talent level is really brutal. It is definitely their worst talent level in quite some time. I’d have a lot less confidence if we didnt have a very experienced QB as well as the best player on the field.

The key for CSU is rebuilding their offensive line. They have very little in place, but reinforcements show up this summer including a new OT transfer and an OG that was kicked off his prior team for armed robbery.

And it will take time for their line to gel. First game is a hard place to expect 5 guys to play together smoothly right away.

The only place that CSU has had an advantage over CU in recent history is when CSU’s OL has been a veteran, experienced group that has dominated a weak CU front seven. That isn’t even remotely the case this year or in the last few years. As a CU fan, start acting like this game is an exhibition game that counts toward bowl eligibility.

Sonny Lubick was a legitimately good coach and the CU teams that lost to CSU post Lubick were straight up trash. I can’t see us losing this one

I won some gigantic coin on this game last year. A lot of that had to do with watching their abomination of a defense against Hawaii. What has changed this year from last year for CSU to convince anyone it would be different?

Actually, Embree won his debut (2011) and MM also won (2013). So did McElwain (2014). So, the new coach has the edge.

Nothing, and they lost their two best players to the draft.

Have nothing but pigskin on my mind today. I poked around and dang, CSU is in real bad shape right now and I think morale is very low as well. Why? No 2020 commitments so far. CSU fans are saying the 2019 class is suspect as well.

Bobo's record against AFA, CU, and Wyoming: 2-10 and those two wins came in his first season. Not good at all!

Bobo is gone after this season for sure.

I think it is 30/70 he is gone after this season.
