Official ****braska Hate Thread

There’s something seriously wrong with the ugly mother ****er.
Honestly, this guy is lockstep with every nub fan I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. They're all full of pent-up rage, frustration, and jealousy. They're not "classy" and they know it. The "classy" thing is a charade. A facade... Nothing more than subterfuge for their pathetic, overhyped, crappy football team.
Additionally, frost is clearly suffering from severe mental ilness that may or may not include an organic brain DZ component.

Just imagine what it will be like in Lincoln when Frosty & the Huskers come home from a loss at CU.

How glorious that will be, I so hope this is the case. Being able to shove this in their faces for the next 4 years will be the greatest gift from the football gods.

So Washington is in court today in California and will play full time until the case is adjudicated, according to Frost. The decision was made in conjunction with the Athletic Department and University officials. Lol, surprise, surprise... Nebraska AD and University officials agree that a player helping the team is more important than not being associated with a possible felon.

For any other university having ESPN / FOX put "RB Washington has court appearance due to Child Pornography charges" would be an absolute no go. For Nebraska? Apparently fine.

Read this whole thread. This deserves some national media outrage:

And then you have the loser "guilty until proven innocent" outrage guy.

You don't have to wait to see if he's cleared of all charges (spoiler alert: he won't be) to do what's right by your program, your university, and most importantly, that young woman, and suspend the kid.

What really aggravates me - it will always aggravate me - is that the media and the CU administration tried to burn down the entire program because of allegations. No arrests, no charges - allegations. And it's brought up from to time to time as "proof" that CU is a dirty program. Meanwhile, a dude facing trial for a felony child pornography is going to play Saturday for Nebraska. Felony. Child. Pornography.

It's absolutely disgusting.

by law he almost could be turned away at the gate into Folsom. We don't allow that in our house. Also - if he loses his trial he will be a registered sex offender, at that time he is not allowed around any minors - then he will be expelled. maybe

Well, I suppose if it worked for kNU in the 90’s...why not revisit this strategy 25 years later?

How much is Nebraska paying to keep pushing this off?

Meh. His lawyer is trying to work out a deal, probably to a misdemeanor.

I have to say, the situation as described is completely ****ed up. Washington didn't record the video and wasn't party to the sexual abuse depicted. He did however, keep the video (of a sexual assault of his former girfriend) for three years--that's ****ed up and wrong any way you slice it. He then sent it to her when they were in some sort of text argument. Again, ****ed up and wrong.

I don't think we need to be locking teenagers up for child porn charges every time they send dirty pictures of themselves and their classmates. This, however, was a bit more than that.

I dont think he will be locked up and I dont think he should be! But He deserves more than 1/2 suspension from a sport that is a privilege.

Yeah I don’t disagree but it’s nebraska so giving them **** is awesome.

would it be inappropriate to give the student section giant posters of naked babies to wave around when the nub offense is on the field?

edit: more precisely, would it more inappropriate than all the other things we're going to do that night?
I think I'll let you run point on being the guy walking around campus and getting past BPD with a stack of naked baby pictures.

Yes. That would be awful.

However, posters or props based on Law and Order SVU would be totally appropriate and more effective.

@StormTrooper do you still have some pull within the C-Unit? Is it even possible for them to sneak something like this in?
Possible? Absolutely. But marketing really solidified their control over the section this summer. It's not really an independent student group anymore and I don't know the new leaders. There are alums of the group who are a bit more (a lot more) politically incorrect and I can bring it up with them.
