There comes a point where you've gotta take a look at what the staff is doing. We HAVE to run the ball if for no other reason than to get through the next month of games-Johnson's thrown it more than he's passed it tonight, even with Montez completing one of his first nine. Defensively-I feel like I'm beating a dead horse. Tyson Summers makes DJ Eliot look competent. I'd kill to be 71st in the country in total defense like we were last year.

Thankfully the former is not an option for an additional 2 years.
This team had enough talent to win 6 games this year. The scheme and coaching is beyond pathetic on defense

Will be interesting to see how such an injury prone college career a) affects his draft stock and b) if he can stay on the field in the pros.
The only way he doesn’t get a full 4 years is if he goes three straight seasons with 3-4 wins each. This program can’t afford to fire yet another coach.

It’s now a personal question of whether he should. He doesn’t need any more game film to be a 1st or early 2nd round pick.

Yeah we had our shots against AFA, UA, and USC. Defense cost us those games.
Presumably because it's the default option and we don't like change

I'm wondering how long Montez is going to be out there. JFC, what else do you need to see?
Winning 6 games took being 100% healthy and beating Air Force and Arizona! We are where we are now. It appears Tucker decided to recruit to his system instead of just playing to win 6 games.
This is a complete Rebuild if you look at it honestly! Only pieces in place are RB, WR, and some OL. No other position is even close to top 5 PAC 12 talent.

So we are to believe that Montez passed the concussion protocol last week vs. USC because he came back. Nevermind that he couldn't tell left from right.
Did we hear anything about Montez (good chance it has been discussed and I didn't see it)? If we heard nothing, or even if we heard something, is he in his own head right now?
