Lookalike & Game thread - RV (AP poll)/ #23 (NET rankings) Men's bball hosts #4 (AP)/ #11 (NET) Oregon (Boulder, Thursday, 1/02, 7:00 PM MT, ESPN2)

What a win!! What a day for the Buffs! Also, Nuggets won and Avalanche are winning, it’s a good day.

Really bizarre technical difficulties by ESPN. Showed their college basketball logo for all of one second and cut immediately to studio, with no prior issues. What the hell.

Told my wife we’re lucky it wasn’t a tournament game or football game or my brain would have melted.

Go Buffs!

Does anyone have Cell Phone video of the final 2:30??? Really would like to see Pritchard dumb ass face walking out!!!
Go Buffs
Great TEAM win
Kin is god
Really good game by Siewart

this nonsensical take from another dumb duck fan doesn't explain the eight other losses in Boulder we've handed them since the conference change. I'd expect we'll see them a third time in Vegas after tonight. These two look far and away like the class of the Pac 12
Yep, this dude is not the sharpest spoon in the drawer.......with a slightly better than average officiating crew out there tonight, the margin of victory would have been even greater.

Interesting that they would use the officiating as an excuse considering that the officials decided to render Battey ineffective by calling him for multiple quick fouls.

Bottey has been arguably our MVP recently and the refs put him on the bench but the refs are the reason the Ducks lost. What a joke.

Tad: “Tyler Bey cannot have that technical foul. He deserved it. He made a helluva block. And instead of woofing at somebody and trying to show ‘em up, sprint your tail down and maybe get a trail 3 or maybe get a dunk in transition. But we, there’s no room for that....”

I felt like it was a BS call but I have to agree with Tad. Don’t stand there and stare at the guy. Get your ass up the court.

The officials tonight were fine. There was some questionable ****, but there is in every game. For those who don't know, I officiate at the high school level in Denver, and I want to try and get to that level.....so I watch officials because it helps me get better as much as I do the teams when I watch college games-Mike Reed's one of the better referees in the sport. Bo Boroski's (he worked the TT-Sparty game at the Final Four LY) one of the best in the country-but he works mainly Big 10 games (way more physical basketball for the most part). I've heard Dave Hall (one of the assignors I work for and a referee out of Denver) talk about how college officiating works-its not uncommon for a guy to come work a game from another part of the country (we see John Higgins 4-5 times a year as an example) for a game as big as this one was, but if you're a Big 10 (primarily) guy like him working a big Pac 12 game, its a bit different. DG Nelson's okay, but that technical he stuck Bey with was bad I thought.

It's the rule. You can't stare a guy down. I'm not going to be too hard on Bey, he's a kid and it was a ridiculously incredible play, but he did deserve the T. Tad is exactly right.
