Other Games 10/28-10/30

Fuskers managed to pull it to within one score, again moral victory range.

Good to know though that their fans bet the line in favor of the nubs though so even getting close they still lost their money along with their minds.

Miami up on Pitt, 21-7, in a bit of a shocker.

Pitt went on to lose 38-34 and this is what pisses me off about the ACC, that nobody else other then Clemson can step up and have a big year and get onto the national stage. NC State lost at a very average-at-best Miss State team and then choked on their dick at Miami last week. UNC was set up well this year but has been very mediocre (although they were overrated going into the season IMO). Pitt this year, first they lose to WMU and then today. VT gets a huge win over UNC to start the season then loses to WV, and then proceeds to choke against ND and then lose to Syracuse. Miami was undefeated a few years ago until they faded down the stretch. FSU continues to be a mess. On and on

Hey I'm pulling for them big-time! But they have a tough road down the stretch, at least by ACC standards. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they lost all of those games. I also wouldn't be surprised if they won out, so who the hell knows.

at UNC
NC State
at Clemson

Oklahoma State taking out last weeks loss on Kansas.

Could we beat Kansas right now? Don't know.

At this point I wouldn't be certain of beating UConn which is probably the worst FBS team out there.

The fact that Frost has failed to recruit a QB better than Martinez is ultimately going to be his downfall there.

Hey ... at least Frosty preserved his streak of losing games decided by a touchdown or less. That's got to count for something, amirite?

Actually this years Boise team is not very good.

But with our HC, OC, and OL, probably not.
I didn't say they were. They're a middling G5 team with a winning culture that props them up a bit. I'm not confident our Buffs are on that level.

Moral victory champion. Best (checks notes) 3-6 team in the nation.

Keeps them alive for the Moral Victory National Championship.

Also lets him keep a straight face every week when he keeps claiming that they "are close"

What are they reviewing for so long on the UNC td run? Replay clearly shows it was a touchdown and the original call was a touchdown.

Move. On.

I don't know if I could be any more impressed with Georgia.

Florida didn't even have a chance in that game.

This might be the best defense I've seen in college football.

Corral going to get one of his receivers killed in this Ol' Miss - Auburn game.

Meanwhile Auburn playing a good game. Not a great team but pretty good, especially when Bo Nix is playing well.

Agree about the Georgia D, they tackle so well but the one thing is their secondary can be had. And they'll need better QB play to win the national title.

Right now I'd say if Alabama wins out they'd beat Georgia in the SECCG.
