vs. New Mexico: Series tied 6-6.

CU will take on the New Mexico Lobos in the semifinals of the Las Vegas Classic in the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., on Wednesday at 8 p.m. (mountain).

CU will take part in either the championship or consolation game of the Las Vegas Classic on Thursday against Indiana or Northern Iowa.

Important game if they want to get back into the hunt for an NCAA bid. Losing to USF and Harvard really hurt their chances.
 
My source at the game and he says 85% of the crowd is indiana fans who will obviously be going for Steve Alfords Lobos, sounds like we should be able to count this as a road win.

Ok i also I told him to remind them that Alford under achieved in the nba and Reggie was way sicker
 
Have we started a game on fire yet this year? It seems like every game I watch they can't hit **** from the field and have to dig themselves out of a hole.

They are but its not like they are significantly outperforming us. We have made too many dumb mistakes, just aren't really hitting shots.

Can't let that big guy get too many offensive rebounds like that though.
 
keeping it close, and higgins only has 2 pts. not bad. its amazing watching burks play D like this. the guards are playing full bore on D right now. Hope they can keep it up cause our frontcourt is gonna get killed.

And goddamit relphorde, free poitns and you miss the ****ing FT. And then we miss the ****ing layup. GODDAMIT.
 
still only 8 pts back when if all we had done is make a FT and a layup it would be a 2 possession game. sigh. I really like what we are showing on D for the most part. O definitely looks better too. If they get worn down by our pace, which it seems like they have a bit (fast break starting to get more success late in the 1st), 2d half could be interesting.
 
announcer is a douchebag. The defenders feet were moving so much they stepped on burk's foot and he says he thinks it was a charge.
 
yeah he wasn't close to set.

I agree, the D has looked pretty good and this could be a great second half. Need to keep running, not sure we can hang in a half court game. Wish I wasn't on the East coast, I want to watch but need to be able to function at work tomorrow.
 
need to get levi some more open looks and cory needs to heat up. we can still win this

god damn these refs suck and whoever the color guy is he makes john madden sound competent and eloquent
