Quick game preview:

Oklahoma State is one of the few teams in the Big 12 the Buffs can match size with. They start 3 guards (2 under 6 feet tall) and 2 forwards (both under 6'9"). They're not a good shooting team from 3 point range and also aren't great free throw shooters. But they shoot very well from 15 feet in. Look for OSU to try to put a lot of pressure on the Buffs' defense by driving to the hoop trying to draw fouls or get easy looks... then crash the glass on a miss. Interestingly, they don't move the ball all that well or generate a lot of assists. On defense, OSU is a solid defensive team that is ranked nationally a lot higher than the Buffs. However, they're not on the level of Mizzou or KSU. In OSU's two true road games this season, they lost 73-52 at Gonzaga and 71-48 at Texas A&M (just 3 days ago).

CU's keys to the game:

1. Hold OSU to under 50% shooting from 2 pt range.
2. Don't let Marshall Moses (16.6 ppg / 8.4 rpg) dominate our front line.
3. Don't foul and maintain good box out positioning on defense.
4. Take care of the ball and make the extra pass on offense.
5. Win the rebounding battle.

This is a good team we're playing, but it's also a game that the Buffs should win.

i like Jon Sunvold as an analyst. unless OSU is unconscious from 3 (Page can get hot), i like the matchups here. inside, Moses is a good player, Olekemi is a nice FR, Pilgrim is serviceable....but they all are *listed* at 6' 7"-6' 8"....so, we should be able to contend in the paint. at some point, we'll be over-sized to great disadvantage....but, i don't think that's today. Burks and Higgins are the two best players on the floor, home court, capacity crowd at the Keg***.... Buffs win 80-69.

**I'm trying it out, here.

Controlling Moses is going to be the big key. Hopefully, Page is still struggling because he can get unconcious from three point land.

The kid off their bench...Olukemi....was the biggest difference in the win versus Kansas State last week.

They are not very balanced offensively though, so limiting Page, Moses and Olukemi is key.

My first game at the CEC was against OSU in the 1990s when we had a big upset against them.

Go Buffs!

great finish to the Louisville-Marquette game. UL finishes the game on a 25-4 run to win by 1 on a bucket with 4 secs left.

ATM coming back on Mizzou, early. 8-0 run for the Ags, 19-18.

if anyone knows of a stream, post it please! we don't get the big 12 network (i had no idea that even existed) out here in cali...

watching the Studio 66 Buff highlight package confirmed something i saw last week against MU. Burks is really loosey-goosey with the ball on his spin dribble in the lane. he's gonna get that stolen, people will notice it on tape. tends to do it when he enters the paint, from just above the FT line.

It's on Altitude on DTV as well. 681. HD picture. Much better than the Full Court non-HD picture.

Got it thanks!

anyone posting that is attending? crowd? JE and the recruits?

38-34 Pokes at half. Buffs playing pretty good defense, but shooting like ass. I like that it's not the other way around. The shooting should settle down after half. I worry that all the charging calls will keep them from driving to the hoop, but they need to get to the line more.
