SI Pac-12 **Warning**

Wazzu over CU? really?

Wazzu is trying to build some momentum based off of their last three games last year. They knocked off Oregon State and gave Cal and UW a run for their money. The receivers unit looks strong and they have a decent QB in Tuel. At least that's what I've been reading in their previews.

Wazzu ****ing sucks and will continue to suck so long as Wulf is at the helm. Five wins in three years and two of them were against FCS teams, not seeing how they get the nod.

Bruce Feldman's list of great players on bad teams

QB: Jeff Tuel, Washington State Cougars

No conference has as many outstanding QBs as the Pac-12, and Tuel is one of the guys who tends to get lost in the shadows. In two seasons, he has been one of the few bright spots for a downtrodden program. He took another step in his development in 2010, hitting 60 percent of his passes with an 18-to-12 TD-to-INT mark, despite playing behind a very shaky offensive line (he was sacked 51 times), and with a weak ground game (117th-ranked rushing attack in the nation).

Wulff this year is like Hawk last year. We heard all about how the Buffs would win 8 last year, how the weapons were finally in place and the O-Line was jelling and that didn't exactly pan out. When you go 5-32 you don't just have a 6 win season. They could literally be 3x as good this year and win 3 games

There's no doubt that Wazzou has been pretty horrible, but we've been just as bad. I don't see why we'd be so overconfident vs just about anyone. jmo.

The one thing that makes me feel better in this game is the fact we play them at Folsom.

I guess my point is that Wazzu has proven that there is a whole new level of hideousness that we somehow didn't manage to reach. I'm as stunned about this as anyone else, but 5-7 is a lot better than 5-32. CU's 13-23 over the last 3 years puts them in the company of UW(12-25), ASU (15-21) and UCLA (15-22).

That's just not true but we obviously have been really bad.

 I didn't realize there were so many levels of sucking. So I guess your right. We've sucked for the past couple of years, but at least we haven't been sucking THAT bad.

Uhh we won as many games last year as WSU has in THREE years.

For years, the justification for keeping Utah and Boise State and TCU out of the big games has been, "they play in a dog-crap conference."

Now, Utah is playing in one of the top BCS conferences in the land, and suddenly they are going to roll off 7 conference wins? Not.

These upperclassmen have overcome too much(5years of Dan Talkins)to go winless in conference this year.At the scrimmage Saturday I was accused of drinking the kool-aide cause I say at worst this team wins 5 games,no way is the bar lower than that?

We should beat Wazzu. That said, 3 wins is not out of the question. Some of you guys are drinking a strong batch of Kool-Aid.

Hey OrangeBowl. Thanks for joining, and a double thanks for immediately becoming a club member. We really appreciate it, and your $$ go keep this site running and improving.

We hope you stay awhile!

I'm expecting 5 wins. Could see it being as bad as 3 or as good as 7. This would likely have been a bowl team with a different OOC schedule which is too bad as that would have been huge for getting momentum going on the recruiting trail.

Looks reasonable to me. Though I'm predicting 4 wins. But I admittedly have a hard time picking 4 teams on this schedule I think we'll beat.

0-9 , too funny. Cu will end that assanine prediction the first pac 12 game vs wazzu. Attention media, dan hawkins no longer coaches at CU. There are Talented players back on offense and what should be a decent front 7.

CU moved the the PAC 12 not the AFC east.

That is all.

Maybe i'm drinking a little bit but i'm not drinking snake venom either. Some of these gloom and doom predictions has actually got me back to my old homer self of years past.

I'm going to enjoy this positive outlook on CU football.....well ..unless things turn ugly

syko we aren't that talented. You have to give Embree and company some time to get his type of players in here.

Unfortunately either this year or next year expectations are going to have to be exceeded or it's going to be increasingly difficult to get top tier talent in here.
