Might as well get this started now. Anybody who is going should have bought their airline tickets by now. So who's going, and will you want to take part in the very first allbuffs.com tailgate of the John Embree era? For those who are going, I'll get you my cell # so we can meet up prior to the game and load as many people into my rental and my buddy's van as possible, then carpool into the stadium lot together so we can get set up.

In! Lookin' forward to my second sackygate.

I've got your cell, unless it's changed since Miami of Ohio.

I came really close to going but changed my mind at the last minute. Have a great time.

I will be there + 7 others...we'll be on day 1 of vacation mode so certainly ready for some cocktails beforehand and a Buff W to start it off right! Have our own transportation, but definitely down to meet up for a little tailgating.

We should meet up before heading into the parking lot so we can set up together. I'll be in touch.

I was out on Google Maps. There is a Safeway and a Liquor Store on Salt Lake BLVD between the airport and the stadium. Maybe this is the place to meet up. Great place to stalk up on the BYOB. Salt Lake is a major artery just north of the H1 "interstate" that goes directly to Aloha stadium.

Hawaii AD starts selling individual game Tix on Monday. I'm getting the best of what's available between there and on stubhub.

So the wife and I are going to try to fly standby to get out there for the game (she works for Alaska Airlines... THE Airline of the Pac-12) which means of course that it's not wise for me to buy tickets prior to showing up... My questions to you college football knowledge gods: Do you think that it will sell out? If so, I should still be able to scalp some right?

w0ot! Nevermind... looks like it's pretty much a lock that we can get out there so I'll buy tickets in advance. Would love to know where everyone is sitting so I can try to get tix by some Allsome Buff Fans!!

You should be able to buy tickets from scalpers at face value or cheaper. Some of the guys who sell them tend to get complimentary tickets at or around the 50. I expect somewhere between 45-47,000 fans in attendance. I do hope it's a sellout though.

I just received an email from UH athletics to say that my season tickets will be mailed this weekend.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!!

Allsome! Thanks! Rep!

Let me know what is happening. I am arriving on Oahu at 7am or so. Sitting in section f. Bottom level by the endzone.

Hey Phat
Stubhub has some tix right behind the CU bench.

You'll be next to Buff fans if you grab the pair that are available at Orange Sideline K row 5.

There's still a block of 8 Sideline Orange L Row 1. Also right behind the CU bench. It'd be nice to have Colorado fans in those seats.

no ****? how much?

row 5 on the visitor's sideline is terrible. Not only do you have the team in front of you, but you have the camera truck as well. You'll miss a lot of the action. Shoot for row 8-9 at the lowest.

Visitor's side on the right. I'll let you know of any buyers remorse.

Found some cheap plane tickets but need a place to stay, any of you Hawaians got a couple couches for me and a buddy hahahaha

Well I guess the good thing of being placed up in the Upper Yellow section there is I'll be under that overhang hopefully not obliterated by the sun/heat

Really. Cause the Warriors are on the right unless they changed their colors to white and red. Visitors are on the left. /smartass

After one glance by a die hard UH fan, the picture looks like it was taken in 2003(UH vs. Alabama), in which the Warriors would be on the right side. However this is 2011 and the visitors are located there now. The TV truck runs behind the bench and blocks the views all the way up to the 8th row when it's in front of you. I just don't want any of you Buff fans to come all the way and get a bad seat. Now if you were USC fans, I could care less.

Last year, I had this USC jerk tell me I was in the wrong seat. He wouldn't let me look at his ticket and then he called on security to try to escort me out. I wouldn't budge and was about to be taken away, but I asked the security if I could see the fan's ticket. Turns out the guy had the same ROW, SEAT, and SECTION, but WRONG color. He was in the YELLOW seats and my season ticket seats were in ORANGE. After all the bad names he was calling me, he shut up when he found out he was wrong. I just calmly said "Get the F away from me!" and he did.

Here's a more recent photo of the stadium:HAField-0.jpg Buffs sideline is on the bottom.

Thanks for the tip! Looks like the nosebleeds aren't terrible... I'm super stoked to go... gotta keep my stoke level in check though.

Suck it, Snow. Dpc proved your smartass wrong.

I went right despite the green Hawaii uniforms b/c I didn't see the big scoreboard and knew the picture was taken from the north endzone.

/smug smartass told-ya-so

 well done.

$126.50 a pop according to stubhub.com. **** me. That's nuts.

The Hawai'i Athletics Department still has sideline tickets available in the $50 price point see here: http://www.etickethawaii.com/sports.html

Did we figure out what side the Buffs are on? West?

Buffs are on the Makai sideline. Makai means toward the ocean. So if you want to be on the sideline closest to the visitor's section, look at sections N, P, and Q. Make sure the ticket says level 1 or orange. Either use the UH ticket website or just bring cash and get to the ticket office early to look for the scalpers. You'll probably pay $50 per ticket either way.
