Some sophomore highlights (still trying to find junior year):

He has good taste in music. I actually turned up the volume for the highlight reel. It looked like that was only one game I wonder if that other team was the equivalent of CSU or if that was some real competition.

Edit

I think that I figured it out. The trojan looking team in the highlight reel is Oaks Christian(?) Since we have offered some of those guys I assume the program is solid.

3* on Scout and ESPN now... but as a DE. Rivals has him listed as a TE.

Are we recruiting him to play TE or DE.

Pretty sure as a TE. It's been a while since I've heard his name, but I believe the connection was through Nelson Spruce and the interest was as an H-Back type rather than defense.

reposted for relevance.

TE or DE? He only had 5 catches last year so DE would seem to make more sense unless the staff really likes his blocking ability.

DE, most likely. I need to adjust the profile and Index. I'll try to get to it tomorrow.

“I loved it at Colorado, that’s one of the nicest campuses I’ve ever seen,’ Stuart said. “Boulder is a beautiful city, the coaches were great with me and I can definitely see myself spending the next five years of my living there. Nelson Spruce, who played here at Westlake last year, was my host and he loves it out there and it was great having a friend show me around."

:woot: Love the sound of this.

Non pass catching te? Hrmmm. Any info in that article as to his position? Cause with his height and frame he could do ok as a 3-4 de

Pretty sure he's a DE 100%. Westlake doesn't even really use him as a pass catcher at TE. He just blocks.

He looked solid in the Oaks Christian game, but didn't stand out quite as much as Solis. He forced a fumble on a sack. He looked pretty good when OC would run, so we're probably looking at him as a 3-4 DE. Holds his ground and can push things back.

I did. I saw Nik said this...

And when Nik says DE, he's a DE. Do NOT question The Nik...

It could be cool to have him available to play some blocking TE because we are desperately thin there, though...

Very wilder of him if so. And fify

Gene, actually, but can we keep the recruiting thead on topic please? Nik gets grumpy.

Great remarks from Mr. Stuart. I'd go to CU again, if I could.

Any update on Stuart now that the season has ended. I think he really enjoyed the visit. Is he still on our radar?
