There is an article on Rivals saying he is now fully qualified and is good with his ACT score.. looking at Colorado, UGA, Maryland, and Oklahoma

what happened?

siap: rockytoptalk
"Washington D.C. cornerback commitment Kenneth Crawley officially parted ways with UT via his twitter account. He was reportedly going to struggle to meet Southeastern Conference academic requirements, so this is not surprising news, though it is disappointing."

The SEC has academic requirements?

Must be below a 2.5

And willing to accept cash

They have strong math requirements, you have to be able to count large sums of cash without assistance that appears under your dorm room door.

I think your info is outdated. They now require that a parent, preferably a pastor dad, count all your money.

True, thanks for correcting me. If you aren't going to make a kid waste his time going to class why have him waste his time counting money.

On the Vols Board they are talking about grade issues.

Truth or Sour Grapes?

They've been throwing that out there since he decommitted, saying their coaches have seen his transcripts and apparently noone else has. It's sour grapes, and a lot of those SEC recruiting sites don't handle bad news very well, and make our meltdowns seem tame, so it's in their admin's best interests to come up with a story to make everyone feel better. When 5 star Landon Collins picked Alabama over LSU, there were threads on LSU's rivals board calling for the admin(Mike Scarborough) to resign because they thought he was withholding info and misleading them about where Collins was leaning.

SEC fans can't accept that a kid would go elsewhere. They have to rationaize it. But to pull the "academic" card? That is trying to rationalize a decision with an irrational argument.

I'm still laughing about this one.
