'12 MI SF Chris Jenkins (Signed to Colorado)

it will be nice having Spencer and Jenkins hitting shots from the outside next year. I think we have a chance to be a really good team.

Definitely the best video Ive seen of Jenkins. Good range and I love that mid-range game. He can score in a lot of different ways. His handle is better than I thought too. I'm not all that worried about him finishing, he showed the ability to explode when he needed to and I really don't have an issue with a kid who's content with a layup instead of trying to make the highlight reel with every play.

what he does to the zone at 4:30 (I think) is just beautiful. Dude has a stroke from anywhere on the court, and having a hand in his face doesn't seem to faze him (I know, highlights).

Other than that, I worry about how soft he goes to the rim when he obviously has the athleticism to go harder. That is gonna get a lot of shots blocked against big time competition.

Defense, I think, will be his issue, at first.

This would be my one criticism of Jenkins. Love his game outside the paint, though.

Damn those crowds are big at those games. AAU? Detroit takes their bball seriously.

This kid's gonna be good. He was incredibly underrated and I really see him, XJ and Scott being on the same level at this point.

What are the restrictions on practice? Is the feedback on rivals coming from the media or are people attending?

Early reports right now are that we all need to rep Snow and Rugged. They called it. We got ourselves a player here.

and a possibility of an all-mustache back court.

YES!

I think everyone on the team needs to grow the pornstache that The Mayor and Jenkins rocks. Chen with a stache? Simba? Oh God, make it happen Tad!

Good lord, that would be awesome. I can already see the ESPN intro. "It's MUSTACHE MADNESS, BABY!"

Pornstache needs to be a requirement for going on the C-Unit trip to Vegas. Yes, even for the ladies.

I'll let you deal with the ladies with the facial hair.

From a team standpoint it would be seriously cool if every player had one. It could start a national trend.

Thorburn on Jenkins.

It's looking more and more like everyone is going to owe Rugged & Snow rep (on here) and shots (at the Dark Horse).
alright. Now i'm annoyed. I called it first dammit! Way first! Rugged is riding on my coat tails!
But whatever, its awesome that UM came after him, and even more awesome that he stuck with Tad.

If he can translate this 40% from three to the college game he may see a lot of time this year. One of the big struggles the Buffs had this year was when teams packed in the defense and challenged our players to drive into them. We had a very good slashing team but opponents took away the space to do that. Since Levi graduated we haven't had anyone who could consistently make teams pay for backing off.

Jenkins could provide that threat and as an added bonus at 6'7" he is tall enough that he can shoot over most guards easily meaning that teams can't just play a zone with a guard out top running at the shooter. They will have to defend him with a forward which will open up space for the slashers which is exactly what Tad wants to do.

I don't know if CU found Tad as much as Tad found CU but I am glad he's here and even happier that the wants to stay. Every time I wonder why Tad is in on a kid or makes a certain decision time proves out how much ahead of the curve he is.
