Well, he won't sign anything as a PWO so things could change. Got to believe that Petersen had to promise him the first scholarship that opens up. It comes off pretty arrogant for the UW guy above to come in bragging about this - just comes off bad dude.
Bottom line, I hope it works out for the kid. He decided his offer/promise from UW was better than his other options, which were not P5 in the end. Take a scholly to Nevada or take your chances in Seattle? Either way, hope the kid has it all work out for him and gets a free education.

The only one I know isn't lying is Adam. Random dude from Washington has some bona fides to establish.
I like his passive aggressive shots at CU by saying Bisharat tried going to Washington but was turned down.

He had no offers left, the only committable offer he had left was from cal poly which is why he decided to walk on

It's surprising he had no committable offers from MWC schools after Washington, Colorado and UCLA backed off.

Right - Bish calls UW, begs Petersen to come on board, but UW can't find room for Bish "because they had already taken another RB" so they turn him away? Bama among about a dozen other P5 schools were going to find a scholly for him on Signing Day. But Pac12 powerhouse UW, who is currently expecting at least two current players to move on, couldn't find a scholly for him. Sounds legit.

Never said he begged them for a visit. Once he was told by stanford that that he wouldn't be admitted then he started calling schools telling them he had decommitted to standford. One of the schools he called was UW which is why I said he had interest in them. Washington had already offered pleasant a rb offer a week before and UW only had 1 scholarship left which had to a WR because it's a huge position of need. Had they known he was going to be available they would have taken him over pleasant but it was to late because pleasant had already visited and committed to them. By the way there were at least three schools that turned bish away because they had no room. Stanford really screwed him

I understand your skepticism but Washington is really limited. Right now with the 17 guys they signed, they are projected to have 89 scholarship players for next year and have to do some work do get that down. Next year is even worse where they only have 13 scholarship's to hand out which is why they couldn't use a grey shirt for a couple of guys.
No they weren't. This bama rumor has to stop. We did not beat bama for a recruit. Saban calling him, allegedly, is not the same as "finding a scholly for him"

Wow. Per Adam in page 2 here... "... Washington tried to make a late run at Udoffia...". UW basically "settled" for Bryant and ended up getting a possible 1st round pick. CU got Udoffia. Sigh (and this doesn't mean Udoffia isn't a good player).
Yeah but we could have had both lol Bryant walked on at UW after UW and CU ran out of room. Just a crazy story for him.
