He was good enough to get multiple P5 offers. He committed to CU then changed his mind. He looks good in the video I am watching. The move doesn't make sense to me.

This isn't the first time a P5 QB has gone from P5 to FCS...off the top of my head Flacco transferred from Pitt to Delaware, Jeff Driskell went from Florida to La. Tech, Colt Brennan (haha)

QBs get offers all the time, that doesn't mean they were all committable. Also, he's been in a P5 program for two years and was quickly passed over. He isn't choosing Texas State over a bevy of P5 offers in the portal.

He has about 3 years left of eligibility. I can understand a 5th year senior or 4th year junior transferring to get playing time. But for a redshirt freshman to transfer from NC state to Texas state doesn't make sense to me. I think there is more going on. Can always stay to compete for 1 or 2 more years to see how things goes. Can always use the newly proposed one time free transfer rule in his Junior or Senior year.

I think it used to be Skinsfan55 and I wanted to change it and this name was what the Mods decided on. I don’t hate it. I wanted a Buff who played for the WFT as an avi, Polumbus was starting for Washington and it fit. I don’t want a representative avi. I can’t watch the injury, it’s a lot.

Maybe more Buff appropriate if we changed to "Stephen Davis's Face"?
