2009 Early Big 12 Lookaheads Per "Scout.com"

raw talent includes decision making. When not addled by repeated pounding, Cody has shown that he generally makes good decisions (for a frosh/soph). Neither of the other two have shown that YET.

This still goes to my point. If none of the QBs are ready to play at a high level next year it shows poorly for the coaching staff. Either they didn't assess the talent or they haven't been able to develop it. I don't doubt that playing QB at this level is very hard, mentally and physically, but this coaching staff has now brought in four guys in three recruiting classes and I expect somebody to step up and be ready to play. We can't constantly be waiting for the next guy to save us.

Besides the addition of Simas and Blackmon (both run exceptional routes and will push Josh to improvement on that area), there will be Maxwell (walk-on) and Espinoza. Don't forget the competition at TE (serious talent at this position). TH told some of his former players from SO CAL that his TE position is outstanding with all the Ryan's! Deehan and Wallace are TH's daily routine throwing partner.

To add to the idea of Wynn and Evans posted earlier, Wynn was VERY thin when I watched and visited with him after a play-off game (steps back almost every down and throws a deep ball to two very good young receivers) while Evans looks the part but not as developed in his rushing ability. Evans has excellent receivers, sure wish CU would offer them.
