can you please take you Arizona-juco-state trash elsewhere? We are no Stanford (neither is Cal) but we require a little more from trolls than you seem to be able to bring.
 
5 assists for CU against 13 turnovers. PG play is an issue. XT with 5 TOs tonight. J-Hop only 1 TO. Both with 1 assist.

Guard play in general.

Frontcourt stats tonight:

Arizona: 38 points / 22 rebounds (3 starters & 1 bench)
Colorado: 40 points / 23 rebounds (3 starters & 1 bench)

Zona was more efficient, but the Buffs matched up just fine there. But our guards got dominated tonight.
 
They won the second half, which is what I was hoping at half time.....barely. Can live with that - have to bring it in Tempe.
 
They took a large punch in the mouth and kept battling. Progress with most of this team tonight. Sets up well for ASU.


As for that amazingly classless statement by the AZ fan concerning Spencer, wow.

I missed that. At risk of getting pissed off, wtf was said?
 
Supremely bummed. It feels like we are playing with one hand tied behind our back. Small consolation, but we covered.
 
We are missing a talent and a guard like spencer. Someone needs to step up and run the offense in the half court.
If we cant do that, it doesnt matter how well XJ, jelly or ski play.

This highlights something else never talked about: our horrible assist to turnover ratio. We're 11th in assists, and third in turnovers. Add in being LAST in 3pt shooting and perimeter shooting.

These are not things you can consistently overcome with good defense. Our guards are just so subpar right now.

No consolation. We've got to get some things fixed. Need the win at ASU in a bad way.
