2015: Recruiting News, Notes & Official Visitors

MacIntyre went to Brentwood, which lost to Hockaday's Christ Presbyterian Academy 31-10 in the season opener.
 
He seems to get sideline to sideline with good speed. Should be interesting to see anyone else starts to offer.
 
Saw some recruits at the CSU game tonight: Frank Umu, Tevis Bartlett, Jake Moretti and Rams commit Colby Meeks from Dr. Phillips in Orlando. Moretti has been here for almost all of the home games. He's a big kid.
 
So O/U 1.5 remaining recruits we beat out over a Big 5 program (takes OV to that school).

Ralston Valley's kicker made a 56-yard game winner Friday Night.

Collin Root.
Also plays WR/DE. Considered one of the state's top tight ends.
Has offer from Northern Colorado.

"I've had good showings at Colorado State, Boise State, Air Force, and Wyoming. I also plan on attending Colorado State again at the end of July. I'm also planning on taking unofficial visits to Northern Colorado and New Mexico State in mid-July."

The kid's in Arvada. His family could see him play without traveling far. We are going to need a kicker, apparently. And a TE/DE/WR combo guy could make for some interesting trick plays.
56-yards is a nice yardstick.
 
A little curious to hear if there is any movement at TE. Seems like (arguably) the biggest need in this class.

Yep. If anything I hope they are pushing hard for a JUCO TE and LB. Those two positions need someone to come in and play right away. Like today.

Ideally if he can find guys who would come in as sophomores with 3 to play 3. Especially at LB. For TE, the class doesn't really matter.
