McMillian is a big-play threat, but I think Evans is actually better at making something out of nothing. There were plenty of runs the last two weeks where there was not much available and Evans was patient, picked through the traffic and ended up with a 5 or 6 yard run instead of getting stuffed.

i think if we were a little better upfront, macmillan would be 20+ carries back. he's got strength and speed and hits the hole really hard. evans did have flashes where he broke outside rather than run into the back of his lineman where the hole was supposed to be.

I'm a little worried about Kaiser vs a better DL
I have to rewatch the game carefully as I saw only a little bit of the 4th quarter yesterday (and of course, saw it live). But the right side was struggling terribly as well. Haigler had a lot of trouble with outside rushes and Lynott almost got Montez killed more than once. Pursell was absolutely being manhandled by Stoltenberg who's a beast at NG/DT having moved inside this year.

He better get ready for this guy.

That's what he gets for raising up like that.

Sorry.....

Blocks well too

McMillan has more big play potential but Evans is a tough dude who gets tough yards. Saturday he got a lot of snaps because he is our best option for picking up in pass protection.

In the second half when we were better adjusted to what they were doing on defense (and had Sherman and Moretti in there who are better athletes then McMillan was a lot more effective.

And Duff beat me to it on Lynott. Guy is coming back from a major injury. Let's give him some time.

He gets somewhat of a pass with coming back from the injury.
Yeah. We know what he can do & know that he worked his ass off to come back really early from his injury. He’s not himself yet, but he gets a pass while he works through it.

We need to set up a Luby's or Country Kitchen in the OL meeting room with a Waffle House on the practice field. I think I'll call up Adams and see if me an Ryan Miller can go down there and set up the Green Egg and Miller's Traegers full-time. That would beat the ****ty pasta bar they have and would keep some meat on these boys.

Sounds like you want a bunch of FAT OL. We don't roll that way in Boulder.
