Viska was the 9th receiver picked. He wasn't in anyone's top 5.

Somebody takes a flier on him in the seventh. Too much physical talent to ignore, to many intangible questions to invest a higher pick.
Somebody is going to think they can fix him, and want to make sure they get the chance.
Maybe he sneaks into Round 7...
I saw a bunch of igg fans criticizing the pick. They’re dumb.
I think someone fell in love with the size and strength. Maybe as early as late 5th but I'm guessing the 6th.
Or I'm way off and he's UDFA and cut early in camp...

i can picture my SIL’s husband criticizing this pick, he is also someone I don’t think has very much sports knowledge or can judge raw athleticism.

What I am loving is how bad the prognosticators are. Fromm has been in Kyper's and the guy from ABC's "best available" for something like 60 picks.
The guy is a first round type of athlete who also has a great attitude and work ethic.
We had the privilege of watching him develop from a great athlete into a football player in a short time. It is clear that he hasn't been playing the game long but also clear that he is a fast learner.
Those same fans will all be saying they loved the pick when he ends up in the pro bowl.
He has things you can't teach.
Also on a sadder note Juwann Winfree might want to be looking at which other teams may need his talents.
Wouldn't shock me if he still makes the Broncos because he was a very good special teams guy last year but with the new additions it's going to be tough.
