If they don't go the recruitment route, and we're recycling ties to the Buffs, Rip Scherer is available, who coached TE's at UCLA and LA Chargers.
 
It seems if they are hiring an ILB coach that they have a DC in mind. Otherwise, they would keep it open in case future DC coaches ILBs as Summers did. Not sure if that points to Wilson as DC, or someone else
 
Jason Harris would have been a perfect 43 DE. Oh well, he wanted to go back home. The current OLB can still stay on to coach the OLB and help out with the DE in a 43 system.

He was a prototype 3-4 edge, switching to the 4-3 probably caused him to leave
