This is awesome! Do you happen to know who our top remaining targets are?

This graphic from On3 is for the entire '24 transfer season but shows how the team keeps improving with each window:

That Cormani rating is comically high, and no way are guys like Brantley, Hawkins and Dawson in the same ballpark as Kirkland, Owens and Hayden. That gap should be even wider, even if there were a couple of departures that hurt.

Even more important is where those departures occurred. As much as I would have liked to see Slusher, Hopkins or McCakill stay, they were depth options at positions of strength.

It's great to have this laid out visually to see how dramatically the staff is raising the floor and improving both roster quality and depth.

Thanks for this. Impossible to keep up with all the movement in a short amount of time.

Interesting to note, that in hindsight many of the grades for outgoing players were just flat out wrong. Shows that the "experts" not only struggle with HS ratings as they always have, but are just as bad if not worse when it comes to transfers.

They are worse on transfers. It seems like they just throw a dart at a number for each transfer and go with it

They really are bad. They put everyone in such a tight range, and seem to overrate young players, struggling to separate the prep hype from the current reality. I mean, how can you put Dawson and Hill-Green at the same rating? One is a proven productive starter at the collegiate level while the other was WR6 on a 4 win team, and has only been pushed further down the depth chart since. Or give Hawkins a better grade than Hill-Green when he could barely get on the field in an extremely thin DL room?

Which is so bizarre, because it has to be easier to evaluate guys that have played in college compared to evaluating HS guys.
Here's the process:

How many offers does the kid report and from who (heavy weighting to high school offers)? Put that in the machine.
Who is now offering (according to the kid self reporting the offers)? Put that in the machine.

Machine: Takes above information, applies the weighting for how many subscriptions they have for each of those supposed offers and kicks out rating.
