Exactly. People say it's hard to recruit to Boulder from certain areas of the country? Try recruiting to Syracuse. No NIL, basketball school and that town ain't exactly heaven on earth.
Not too familiar with our roster I see...

When do portal players start picking schools (or when do we in public hear)?
They can verbal whenever, but I don't think they can sign until the 12/20-22 window (just like a mid-year JC transfer).
Then there's a dead period until 1/11.
With transfers, though, I don't think a commitment (even a signed financial aid agreement) is binding. They need to actually enroll to make it official iirc.

Should have actually tempered expectations. So many guys have already announced their intentions to enter the portal and I doubt there's much activity in the way of committing, especially for top portal prospects. They all get to go on visits and talk NIL, etc. Still two and a half weeks to signing day.
Was it @manhattanbuff that mentioned previously that ATM players weren’t being paid what they were allegedly promised?
A lot of DL and EDGE talent in the portal.
His younger brother signed with Miami last year as one of the top OT prospects in the nation.
