Has UV at least Clem, UGA, Bama, Washington, Oregon, FSU. Refers to Stanford as his "dream school"

Congrats. Biggest recruit in program history?
I have to go with yes. First five star for coach Pete, third highest recruit ever to commit to Washington plus he's a outside pass rusher which is the one weakness Washington has had recruiting on defense and we all know how hard those guys are to find on the west coast. Add in that he's very popular up here in the high school ranks by his peers and that 2021 is the best in-state talent Washington has ever seen and you couldn't ask for much more if your coach Pete.

Pretty big change over the last couple of months right?
Oh yeah, just back in April he eliminated UW because he felt like he didn't fit in the UW culture. Coach Pete had UW back off and move on until July when Smalls called UW to apologize for eliminating them and over reacting. Sometimes we forget these are 17 and 18 year old kids who are trying to make a major decision in the life.

He plays for Kennedy Catholic now - Who has over the last two years recruited so many big time athletes to come play with Damon Huards son Sam. I’m sure there was some influence there. Sam is UW commit

Hard to judge a guy with high talent who was trapped with Jimmy lake for his first two years. I’ll take his upside over our guys on their way Tarleton State or whatever
Drew Sanders, LB from Arkansas just selected by the Broncos was a 5* who didn’t play for two years at Bama, transferred to Arkansas and just became a high 3rd round pick. Fit, scheme, coach, environment, opportunity, etc matter a lot more than people want to admit.

Always take a chance on obvious talent
