Bob Stoops Stepping Down at OU

I seem to remember his OU team beating the pants off of Alabama in the Sugar Bowl a few years ago.

Skip Bayless is a moron.

It's a mostly outdated observation, but it was definitely true for awhile.

2003 season ends with a loss to LSU in the Sugar Bowl
2004 season ends with an embarrassing loss to USC in the BCS championship
2006 season ends with loss to Boise St in the Fiesta Bowl
2007 season ends by getting rocked by WVU in the Fiesta Bowl
2008 season ends with a loss to Florida in the BCS championship

Great coach & incredible run regardless. No way Lincoln Riley maintains it.

Skip Bayless? Come on man.

So apparently Big Game Bob hasn't left the building.

Radio report yesterday afternoon indicates he has accepted a position with the university as the ....

Special Assistant to the Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletic Activities.

He's not doing this for free - reported salary is about $325k per year.

Oh, and in taking this position he's replacing -

Barry Switzer

In other words he's a consultant for how not to get caught.
