I guess this means there is now a spot open in the Big Sky for KjSU?
Big Sky doesn't allow P.E. credits....
Hmm, so that would point to the 10-team Big 12 with no title game. But I've also heard that if the Big 12 stays together they will formally vote out Mizzou. So that would be a couple of strange shifts.
This seems to lessen the chance of Utah joining the Pac 10 (Henderson on a morning radio show in Denver said Utes to Pac was not happening)... does Mizzou or Kansas take an invite?
Not bad move for BSU. I wonder why they didn't hold out to see if they could get a B12 replacement invite. Iguess Junc's specualtion the B12 is ead may have more wheels than I give it credit for, I still think the B12 survives and adds some teams. Maybe they told BSU they wouldn't make the cut, who knows?
I bet the B12 adds a couple of teams to keep the title game. BYU, UU, TCU and possibly UNM are options. I guess you could add Memphis too along wih UH or SMU.

I now want the B-12 to implode. That would save us from having to pay an exit penalty right?

It sucks cause I want them to implode so no penalties but I want them to stay together so the Big 12 south doesn't come with us.
I see your point. Guess I would rather give up the cheddar than be grouped in with the Texas Syndicate.

Not necessarily. I think 75% of the conference teams (9) must vote to dissolve the league in order for the penalites to disappear. No way Baylor, KU, KSU, ISU, and possibly Mizzou let the rest off the hook when each would receive in excess of 20+ million.
Actually, the spot's open in the WAC now. But w/BSU leaving, might as well be the Big Sky.
I figured the WAC would poach a Big Sky team to replace Boise, and that is why there would be a spot for KjSU. I never thought KjSU's academics would cut it in a move straight to the WAC.
Good. I think having BYU, TCU, and Boise together is definitely a good thing for college football. All those programs have the ability to be legit, but we never really know because of the quality of their opponents. Having them play each other in the regular season is a good thing. I know for damned sure that I'd be watching a TCU vs Boise game if it was on TV.
