Acknowledging that it’s on the AD to get fans in the building???? And taking a real interest in basketball?
Well. I mean, UNM is just barely a basketball school.
While I agree with your post and the sentiment behind it, I can't help from thinking how low the bar is set when a single tweet from the AD about hoops is considered "a lot more effort and time"
I've received a few emails already too. I think 2 about buying game tickets and 2 about women's season tickets.

Of course, we have a Student Athlete Advisory Committee. But this is the first mention of it I have ever heard since I enrolled at CU well over 30 years ago.
To be fair it's the exact same thing RG tweeted about when he first took the job...and then basically never again (as far as I can tell).
I think it's actually about 80k.
I find that hard to believe. There’s a required Buff club donation to purchase most season tickets.

I think drone shows in lieu of the fireworks could be a good option
Boring. Folsom's last 4th of July show was in 2023, with drones, since fireworks have been canceled due to fire hazard. No show due to no sponsors since then. Had Phish for 2025 (I guess better than singing Old Man Mr. Ford). Nothing in 2024.
Watching the drone show from the west, the fireworks going off at other places on the Front Range were much more exciting.
