Just said that raising the buyout money was "not a problem"... slip of the tongue methinks?

I wonder if guys like Fowler can donate to the CU Fund since it's not the AD and a conflict of interest. He may know something. I'd heard he's a significant donor and he gives to the school of journalism.
Jesse Palmer:
I don't think people realize the difficulty that exists to win in a place like Colorado.
WTF?
Sounds like he spent too much time talking to Hawk about "excuses".
If you guys can't come up with a couple mil to get a coach then you don't take your football seriously enough.

Yeah I read what Bama said and shrugged and thought to myself that was a pretty accurate statement
He just said it again as they were signing off..."...the money is there to buy him out" was basically what he said...
Not basically what he said, that is what he said.

:dbt::dbt:You have 15 less scholies to work with now than mac did. You have higher than average enrollment standards and less fertile recruiting grounds. You have less total practice time and harder classes and standards for student athletes. And an administration that puts academics above all else.
The 1990s are very far in the rear view mirror.

dont say that. i want the 90s back
I actually believe the scholly limits help CU. OU, Texas and other teams can not load up like they use to. CU has to get back into texas big time.
I do too. And Im glad I lived it from 90 to 94. But after the embarrassment the scandal caused the only way for management to control the situation is limit who gets in and who doesnt. I think we can find a coach more adept at winning 5 to 6 game or more for year but Im doubtful we'll ever see 10 win seasons on a regular basis again.
He's a ****ing prima donna sell out.Regardless of popular opinion, he bleeds black and gold, I'd be surprised if he didn't know something.
He kind of stuttered through it like he realized he was saying too much and then quickly changed the subject.

roll your eyes all you want. What has he done for CU? What? When? Where? Just want to know.
