Men's basketball (12-6, 4-4) are scheduled to head to the Pacific Northwest for a 3 game road swing this week, starting with a make-up game tomorrow night against the Oregon Ducks (12-6, 5-2). After that, they head farther north for a Thursday matchup against the Washington Huskies (9-8, 4-3), followed up with a trip to Pullman to face the Washington State Cougars (10-7, 3-3) on Sunday.

The Oregon and Washington games are slated to be on the Pac 12 Networks, while the one with WSU is slotted for FS1. (More details, and links, near the bottom of this post.)

This is a very tough 3-game road trip. But, hell, we need this opportunity right now if we want to be in it for the P12 4-seed with legit Bubble hopes. These next 2 weeks determine if we are really in it or if we're relegated to a puncher's chance of making the Dance with our only shot being via an unexpected P12 Tourney title.

3 game road trip on the west coast - sounds like the NBA. One game every other day. Everyone who's healthy and on scholarship will have to contribute in each game.

We don't get at least 2 of these, Pac 12 tourney is probably all that's left. We've done it before, different situations though. Plenty of things to fix that are pretty damn fundamental.

hope Boyle can use this as a good psychological warmup for the tourneys

We're an NIT team for sure given the likely Ws on the rest of our schedule and the fact that the powers that be like Tad, we draw pretty well and our conference is pretty legit this year.

Probably right and that's better than nothing. I'd rather play in the big dance though.

Totally agree. I can also see a scenario where we win 2-3 this week, beat both Oregon's at home, sneak out both games in the Bay area, wax ASU, upset UA, pummel UU both times and win two in the Pac 12 tournament putting us right in the mix. To me it depends on which way we swing coming out of last weekend. I'd take any post season though to get these youngsters more PT and more experience.

Tad says Parquet can play tonight.

Bobby hurley suspended 1 game fined:

I hate Bobby as much as the next guy, but I'd be losing my sh!t over that discrepancy as well. Interesting that we have a new commish and yet still have the worst officials in major college basketball.

A 41-9 difference from the line is large, I'd admit that. Didn't see that game so I can't speak on whether it was warranted or not. Another part of me thinks, wait a minute, didn't Bart Simpson play at Duke? :D

It's a huge difference. I wonder if Hurley's attitude comes into play. The refs don't want to hurt the players, but it's human nature to react to someone who screams at you and calls you names.

As long as they make it to the Garden, this would be fine with me.
I can see why you'd say that and I wouldn't be disappointed with that outcome. I just think the goal should be higher but, the Garden would be a nice consolation prize.

KOA: Parquet looks good warming up. LL is not on the trip, injured yesterday. A chance that a walk-on will need to be used (Will Laughlin - Tad: I'm not afraid to use him in this game). Lots of people disagree, but LL is an important part of the team. Also think we'll see a lot more of O'B.

of course he gets injured after his best half of the year

Refs have no respect for CU, very one-sided
I swear after this last weekend I wouldn’t be surprised if the conference told the officials we need to get the highest seeds we can in the dance so let’s make sure our top 4 win out. Far fetched, but when you see the **** we see each week you have to wonder.

When a BB player is injured, why leave him home? Can't be a money issue. I'd guess LL would love to be cheering on his bros,
