RV (Receiving votes) Men's basketball (7-2) end their non conference slate with a couple games over the next 2 weeks. They begin by facing off against the Univ. of Northern Colorado (UNC) Bears (4-5) this Friday (12/15) evening, followed up by a game early next Thursday (12/21) evening against the Utah Tech Trailblazers (5-4 overall; 2-0 in WAC conference play***). (***As I type this Monday evening, Utah Tech is in a tight game with Cal State- Northridge, with Tech up 37-36 at the half.)

Both games are scheduled to be shown on one or more Pac 12 Network channel. (Further info and links for media options available near the bottom of this thread.)

Note- Not that they necessarily mean much if anything relatively early in the season, but in the last NET Rankngs (dated 12/10/23), the Buffs are at #37, while the Bears are #290 and Trailblazers #164.

Nothing official has been announced. The team is being safe right now. We have almost 3 full weeks between the Miami game and the P12 home opener against Washington in which we're playing two games against winnable teams. They're being smart.
 
Hopefully Cody's injury is actually minor and the staff is just being cautious and it gives more minutes to Dak, Diop to make strides in their development we'll need by the conference games. That would be a strange blessing in disguise. (Trying to put a positive spin in here.) And wouldn't it be awesome if LOB has regained his 3 pt shooting touch we have heard is evident in practices.

We should be 11-2 going to Tucson on Jan. 6th or whenever that game is.
