Yeah. What the F was that. I assumed that the plan was to let the play clock expire and kick the FG from 5 yards further back. I have no idea what that wildcat play was going to be or why they tried to run it.
Kept Montez clean all night.
I think MT was thinking that if they didn’t get the first down, he’d rather be up by 3 with ASU having a kicker with no distance, and being pinned inside the 15....instead of being up 6 and giving them the ball at the 25 or potentially allowing a return. I don’t agree with the call, but I see what he was thinking. You play to win the game!

Gutsy, hard-fought game. Made some brutal mistakes (fumble), lost several key players, never backed down. Montez played lights out. Brown was great. Defense played like they weren't missing anyone in the second half. Damn, damn, damn good win.
The game plan and play calling were exceptional

I thought he did a nice job of sticking with the running game. I like how hard both Fontenot and Mangham run. They fall forward a lot.
Absolutely. He ran on several obvious passing downs.
The only thing I don’t like is when they go tempo after a first down, they almost always run the exact same run play. Would like to see them mix that up a bit.
