Wow ...
I started to give you a negative just for your bad attitude, then decided I just shouldn't care that much. But **** you anyway for being a jerk.
You're serious? These guys work their asses off in the weightroom so you can laugh at them and accuse them of inflated numbers? There is no chance that maybe their work has paid off? That these guys are actually ... well,
good? Strong? Fit? Fast? You just jump to the conclusion that they can't possibly be fit because they play for Colorado -- or is there some other logic you used that I missed entirely? Whether the numbers are legit or not, the PLAYERS did not record them or post them, so your laughter is both misplaced and insulting.
This thread would have been a lot more interesting and productive if you'd just started with the fact the Wall of Winners was updated and then let the discussion follow.
But since you felt the "LOL" was appropriate, everything after is negative as well.
I realize a series of losing seasons has you skeptical and depressed, (and gee whiz, I'm sorry this is your outlook) but I don't get why a thread that could have been about the team's progress had to start out with the accusation that OUR GUYS could never be as good as these numbers imply. I had the opposite reaction: I saw the numbers and I got excited. I loved the possibilities it represents.
How about pondering Richter's 505 Bench (125 lbs more than the next guy? That Hansen officially beat Hawkins in the 40 (last year they were tied neck and neck.) That maybe it's too bad Lobato left the team, because he appeared to be pretty athletic and these stats back it up? Who are Romano and Minnett under specialists, anyway? Anyone surprised to see David Bakhiatari's pro agility and 40 time - unexpected but welcome ... what does that say about his future as a player?
There were many possible topics that the latest Wall of Winners could have led to ... Or you could choose to just trash the team for trying at all, for showing up in the weightroom and lifting, for running the 40, for daring to wear the black and gold.
Did you want everyone to just cheer along with you as you take the team down a notch? Sorry, not interested.
